The sleight creates a tornado that pulls an opponent in so he can attack and steal cards. The opponent can get their cards back by destroying all of Zexion's clones. Once and a while, Zexion will put a dummy card in with the stolen cards. When it is used by the opponent, it stuns them so that Zexion can steal cards.

During his limit break, Zexion opens his lexicon and floats into the air with it. He summons balls of dark energy to attack enemies. Zexion can't move while using his limit break.

Riku fights Zexion before his death, but he does not eliminate him. Zexion retreats from his battle against Riku, clutching his chest. When he sees Axel with Riku, he panics, but soon discovers that it's just the Riku Replica. Axel tells the Replica that he needs power that Riku doesn't have, and that he should start with Zexion.

In "Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories", after the Replica absorbs Zexion, Axel says, "So sorry, Zexion. You just found out way too much".
