Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is waiting for you at the park to give you two football challenges?

Answer: Pip Windfall

Pip is waiting for you at the football pitch in the park and the two challenges he asks you to do are, target practice against the wall and secondly scoring three consecutive goals past him. When you win this challenge, in true football fashion, Gromit performs a goal celebration.
2. Who let out Mr. Growbag's chickens in the woods?

Answer: Mr Caliche

Mr Caliche is standing by the empty chicken coop worried, because he has let out grumpy Mr. Growbag's chickens. You have to suck them up in your bungun and then fire them back into their coop. Mr. Caliche asks you not to let on to Mr. Growbag.
3. Who is the harbour-master and takes you on a boat ride to clear his steamer of pests?

Answer: Rob Blight

Rob the harbour-master takes his job very seriously and doesn't hesitate in contacting Anti-Pesto to clear his boat of pests by day and were-creatures by night. He also has another little job for you in Wallersey, to find all of his lost engine cogs.
4. What does PC Mackintosh ask you to find for him, which are hidden all over the town centre level?

Answer: Ware-rabbit posters

PC Mackintosh is very angry at the were-rabbit posters sprouting up all over the town frightening the townsfolk with the 'Beware Beast' logo. You are asked to clear up ten posters for him and then lo and behold another ten spring up in totally different places for you to clear. PC Mac asks you to help him to undertake further tasks throughout the game; this is because the vegetable competition causes him nothing but trouble each year.
5. Which forgetful character asks you to find their keys, twice?

Answer: Mr Dibber

The lovable, but scatty potter, Mr. Dibber is displaying a selection of his pots in Grimsley when he finds he has lost his keys. You have a time limit to smash all of his pots to find the lost articles and after you complete the mission you find out that the keys were in his pocket all along.

The second instance occurs after you escort him home to protect him from the were-creatures. He gets to his door and can't get in. You have to break the pots which are dotted around his home to find three spares.
6. Which of these ingredients does Mrs. Mulch not ask you to get for her pie?

Answer: Onion

Mrs. Mulch wants to make a pie for the vegetable show and asks you to bring her a wild mushroom, turnip and cauliflower, which you harvest from the front gardens and also a courgette which you harvest from a market stall in the town centre. As well as pilfering vegetables from the gardens of her neighbours, Mrs. Mulch acquires the help of Anti-Pesto to escort her from the woods at night where she has been secretly growing apples in Mr. Growbag's orchard.
7. Who asks you to find his sheep, fix his generator and collect his seeds?

Answer: Mr Growbag

Mr. Growbag, who has his home in the woods, is not without his problems. His sheep have escaped, along with two of Mr. Caliche's goats and you are required to round them up and put them back in their pens. The generator next to his house is broken and he needs electricity when night comes. Again you help him out and in Grimsley his seeds scatter over the town and you collect them for him.
8. At the Grand Pavilion in Wallersey, Miss Blight invites you to play two games, what are they?

Answer: Whack-a-Mole and Duckshoot

The two seaside front games Miss Blight has on offer are Whack-a-Mole and Duckshoot. For Whack-a-Mole you have to score 90 points or more and for Duckshoot you have to score 120 points or more to win your cards. The Bag-a-Bunny and Coconut shy games are played at the funfair at Tottington Hall.
9. Which of these is not an attraction at the vegetable show funfair?

Answer: Roller-coaster

The funfair is a playground for the young and the young at heart. It has for your entertainment a helter-skelter, an aeroplane ride, a teacup ride, a ferris wheel and numerous side shows as well a Caliche and Carry tent to purchase any needed items. Also at the funfair is Madame Winnie Bago who gives you access to the vegetable show and the final showdown with Victor and his dog Philip.
10. Why does Mr. Leaching ask you to deliver his barrels?

Answer: His van has conked out

Mr. Leaching has three deliveries to make, to the pub, the newsagents and Arkwrights, but his van has broken down. You are asked to deliver the barrels with the help of your trusty bungun to save Mr. Leaching's bacon.
11. In which level of the game do you have to switch on the street lights and later on turn them off again?

Answer: Grimsley

In Grimsley town you have to use your auto-bunter to switch on the street lights and win the card 'Light up the Town'. In the same level, but in the industrial area you have again to use the auto-bunter to switch off the street lights and win the card 'Lights Out'.
12. In the tutorial which member of Lady Tottington's staff is growing a prize pumpkin which you have to protect?

Answer: Butler

Lady Tottington asks you to rid the walled garden of pests to protect the prize pumpkin grown by her butler. It is by doing this that mission you learn how to access high places by jumping between two walls and you also discover different places where the pests choose to hide. You learn to open cold frames, get pests out of Anti-Pesto traps, blow them out of compost bins and you also learn how to team together to open doors.
13. Which were-creatures infest the church and church yard?

Answer: Were-rats

At night in the churchyard there is an infestation of were-rats. They are hiding in the church, all around the churchyard and even inside the graves. Rev. Hedges rewards you, not with money, for your efforts and in another mission he asks you to retrieve his lost bottles of holy water from the sewer.
14. How many of Harriet Mulch's dollies do the 'horrible boys' run off with?

Answer: Ten

Poor Harriet, ten of her precious dollies have been scattered over Wallersey by some young boys. They are high up, inside garages, even under a boat and only the team of Anti-Pesto can help. Harriet also has her seeds stolen and she asks you to trail the thief.
15. Three of the following characters are voiced by the same person in the video game and the movie. Which one isn't?

Answer: PC Mackintosh

Wallace is voiced, as always, by the wonderful Peter Sallis, who also plays mainstay Cleggy in 'Last of the Summer Wine'. Lady Tottington is played by Oscar nominated actress Helena Bonham Carter and Rev. Hedges is voiced by comedy actor Nicholas Smith, who is perhaps better known as Mr. Rumbold from 'Are You Being Served'. P.C. Mackintosh is voiced in the video game by Dean Williamson, but in the movie he is played by Peter Kay, the comedian who popularised 'Chorley F.M.' and garlic bread.
