Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. After the tutorial at the beginning of the game in which order do you play the next four levels?

Answer: The Town Centre/Wallersey/Grimsley/Tottington Hall

The tutorial takes place at Tottington Hall, but then the first level is played on the home street of Wallace and Gromit, West Wallaby Street and the rest of the town centre. Next you gain entrance to Wallersey, followed by Grimsley and lastly you tackle the vegetable show at Tottington Hall.
2. What is the name of Wallace and Gromit's vegetable protection business?

Answer: Anti-Pesto

With the Giant Vegetable Competition only days away, Wallace and Gromit's humane pest control business, Anti-Pesto is very busy. They use their 'creature friendly' bungun to suck up the offending pests and transport them to their base at their home in West Wallaby Street.
3. During the daylight hours Gromit is accompanied by Wallace on their Anti-Pesto duties, but who accompanies Gromit at night-time to tackle the ware-beasts?

Answer: Hutch

Wallace has the idea of brainwashing the rabbits and rid them of their love of vegetables. He invents the 'Mind-manipulation-o-matic', but its first experiment goes very wrong. One little rabbit gets sucked into Wallace's headpiece and each starts to take on characteristics of the other. Wallace becomes the giant were-rabbit and Hutch becomes a bunny version of Wallace and helps Gromit to rid the game of the frightening were-creatures of the night.
4. Which of the creatures you capture during the daytime becomes a were-creature at night?

Answer: Hedgehog

The hedgehog is the only one of the creatures named above which turns bad at night. However, you also encounter, were-weasels, were-rats, were-chickens, were-badgers and were-slugs in addition to Wallace as the were-rabbit throughout all levels of the game.
5. How do Wallace and Gromit get the power to turn day into night?

Answer: From Madame Winnie Bago

As a reward for fixing her van, Madame Winne Bago, the clairvoyant fortune-teller gives them the power to turn day into night. She also supplies clues to unravel other mysteries that surround the town and her advice is best heeded, because she is wise and knowledgeable in all things.
6. During the game you have to help Gromit to grow a price winning vegetable, what is it?

Answer: Marrow

The marrow is located in Gromit's greenhouse at West Wallaby Street and you can help him to get it ready for the vegetable show by looking after it as you would a real plant or vegetable. You can purchase items to help from the shops dotted throughout the game.
7. Who runs the shops where you can buy things for Gromit's vegetable?

Answer: Mr Caliche

Mr Caliche's shops, 'Caliche and Carry', are in every different level of the game and once you have done your business you can go directly to the greenhouse to tend the marrow and from the greenhouse you can go back to the shop to make further purchases if you wish.
8. Throughout the game, wardens, on guard at various points, give you items or upgrades to help your progress. Which warden gives you the auto-brolly?

Answer: The warden at the churchyard

The auto-brolly enables you to float, either to descend from great heights or to cross large areas. You can also float upwards using hot air currents. To do this you press and hold the circle button.
9. Which child's toy can be used to get around the levels more quickly?

Answer: A bunny hopper

As well as being used as a mode of transport, the bunny hopper is featured in a couple of missions where items need to be smashed in order for you to proceed. To use the hopper all you have to do is to jump on top of it and you are away and if you then press the x button you can produce a higher bounce and by pressing the square button you can smash down on items. To dismount you use the triangle key.
10. What is the make of the car which is always parked on the street in West Wallaby Street?

Answer: Morris Traveller

The green Morris Traveler is a permanent feature throughout the game parked on West Wallaby Street. However if you hit the back door each time you log on to the town centre level 10 gold coins come out for you to pick up.
11. From which level can you access the seafront and take a boat ride to the steamer?

Answer: Wallersey

From the town centre you can access the woods and in Grimsley you visit the town farm and the factory, but Wallersey is home to the harbour and you can hop aboard one of the boats to rid the steamer of daytime rabbits and night time were-creatures to the relief of the harbour master and his family.
12. Whilst aboard the steamer you are asked by Mr. Mulch to retrieve lost bottles of plant food favoured by the vegetable growers. What is the name of this food?

Answer: Veg-B-Big

Apparently a seagull flew off with each of Mr. Mulch's prized bottles of Veg-B-Big and dropped them in different parts of the ship. If you are stuck you can ask Mr. Mulch for help, because he thinks he saw where each one was dropped. This plant food is also used by Gromit to help his marrow to grow.
13. Which Wallace and Gromit favourite is used to represent health in the game?

Answer: Crackers

The crackers are munched away if you loose health during the game, but you can pick up extra crackers by defeating enemies and by hitting various items throughout the levels, such as dustbins and boxes. You can also find full packets of Jacob's Crackers dotted here and there. They help to boost your health considerably.
14. Mr. Leaching has his business in Grimsley. What business does he run?

Answer: Scrapyard

Mr. Leaching owns the scrap yard in Grimsley which has become a victim of both the rabbit infestation by day and the were-creatures by night. It proves a hard job for Anti-Pesto to tackle, because the creatures have so many more places to hide amongst the scrap vehicles in the yard.
15. At the end of the game who does Gromit have to defeat in a WW1 style dog fight in fairground planes?

Answer: Philip, Victor's dog

Philip's master, Victor, is attempting to shoot the were-rabbit to win favour with Lady Tottington and the rest of the village and Philip is trying to stop Gromit flying in to rescue Wallace in his persona of the were-rabbit. Playing as Gromit you must shoot Philip's plane down and foil Victor's dastardly plan.
