Answer: Micaiah

Micaiah is a branded: half-Beorc, half-Laguz. She has powers to see glimpses of the future. She is the main character of Part 1, in which she leads the fight to free Daein from Begnion's oppressive occupation. She calls Sothe her brother, although they are not blood relatives.

Answer: Leonardo

Leonardo is an original member of the Dawn Brigade. He tries to keep Edward from becoming too reckless. He dreams of becoming a master archer. After Daein is freed from Begnion, when the Dawn Brigade is sent to fight the Laguz Alliance, he recieves the bow Lugnasadh from King Pelleas.

Answer: Nolan

Nolan is technically still the leader of the Dawn Brigade, although in reality Micaiah and Sothe have much larger roles in running it. He maintains a cool head throughout the game, and has a desire to seek knowledge. Nolan gets the special axe Tarvos from King Pelleas to fight the Laguz.

Answer: Laura

Laura assists the Dawn Brigade with healing. She is childhood friends with Aran. Laura is a kind soul who wants to help whoever she can. Although she can use staves to counterattack and later light magic, she is not a fighter.

Answer: Edward

Edward is a myrmidon who focuses on speed and skill at the expense of strength and defense. He is good friends with Leonardo, but their personalities are quite different. Edward can be reckless and impulsive, but is still strongly loyal to his friends.

Answer: Sothe

Sothe was a minor character in "Path of Radiance", but his role in "Radiant Dawn" is quite large. He is very close to Micaiah, and is one of the units who cannot promote freely. He promotes after chapter 4-P into a Whisper, to better protect Micaiah.

Answer: Aran

Aran is a childhood friend of Laura, and when she speaks to him, he deserts Begnion. He had served with Begnion ever since being taken in by a merchant. He is not an important character to the story, but he is available for a large portion of the game.

Answer: Ilyana

Ilyana is a thunder mage. After the Mad King's War, she continued travelling with Muston's merchant group. She and Aimee were imprisoned by Begnion forces, along with Kurth, Micaiah and Laura. She is very thin, but has an insatiable appetite. She often convinces others, including Heather and Zihark, to obtain food for her.

Answer: Volug

Volug is a wolf laguz, and the subordinate of Queen Nailah. She calls him a "dog", which Micaiah finds offensive but Volug doesn't seem to mind. He is forced to fight in several chapters, and protects Micaiah throughout most of the game.

Answer: Meg

Meg is Brom's second daughter. After a promise by Brom to Zihark in the Mad King's War, she set out to find and marry Zihark. Brom is very proud of her strength, saying she could lift a cow in one hand. She initially hides from the Dawn Brigade, but after Sothe and Micaiah catch her, she joins them on their journey into the desert.
