Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is awakened as the new Wind Sage in "Wind Waker"?

Answer: Makar

Makar is a Korok from Forest Haven. When you first arrive at the Forest Haven, Makar gets lost in the Forsaken Woods to the west, and you need to save him from the boss. When you arrive at the Wind Temple on Gale Isle to the north of Windfall Island, you are greeted by a Kokiri, and you're taught the Wind God's Aria in order to help Makar awaken as the Wind Sage. Medli is the Earth Sage.
2. What is the name of the witch in both "Oracle of Seasons" and "Oracle of Ages"?

Answer: Maple

Maple can drop rupees, bombs, arrows, and other small things if you happen to run into her and you can do the same. In a struggle to pick everything up, you can end up picking up most of her stuff as well. Maple can also drop tradable items, Gasha seeds, rings, and potions.
3. How many Magic Beans can you buy in "Ocarina of Time"?

Answer: Ten

As a child, you can purchase magic beans which can be planted in soft soil for ten rupees. Every time you buy them, the dealer will raise the price of the beans by ten rupees until the tenth and final bunch. If you plant the beans, they'll grow into bean spouts over seven years, and you'll be able to access Heart Pieces and Gold Skulltulas which you couldn't before.
4. Link uses the Megaton Hammer in both "Ocarina of Time" and "Majora's Mask".

Answer: False

Link can find the Megaton Hammer in the Fire Temple in "Ocarina of Time". The Megaton Hammer can be used to destroy the evil dragon and boss, Volvagia, and it can also smash certain pillars and rusted switches. Although the hammer is a bit more powerful, it takes longer to swing. Link also wields the Skull Hammer (which is much like the Megaton Hammer) in "Wind Waker".
5. Who does not live in Mabe Village in "Link's Awakening (DX)"?

Answer: Christine

Christine is the goat woman from Animal Village to the south-east. You give Christine a Hibiscus during the trading game, and she gives you a letter to give to Mr. Write near the Mysterious Forest. Mabe Village is the largest village on Koholint Island, and it's where you begin your journey in this game.
6. Who is the boss of the Water Temple in "Ocarina of Time"?

Answer: Morpha

The Water Temple is undoubtedly the most confusing temple in the game, and at the very end is a boss which requires a simple strategy to beat. All you need to do is use your new Longshot on the nucleus of the boss and bring it towards you. Sword it a few times and it's dead. If you're picked up by Morpha, you'll be thrown around a bit, and you'll lose a fair bit of health.
7. In "Link's Awakening (DX)", your ocarina songs are numbered. Which number is "Manbo's Mambo"?

Answer: Two

There are only three songs in "Link's Awakening (DX)". The first song is given to you by Marin, and is used to enter the Windfish's Egg. The second is "Manbo's Mambo" and it transports you to certain places, and the third is "Mamu's Frog Song of Soul" which resurrects the Flying Rooster. "The Flying Rooster" is used to reach the seventh temple, The Eagle's Tower.
8. Who gives you Magic Armour in "Wind Waker"?

Answer: Zunari

Zunari is the Eskimo-like guy who sets up his stall on Windfall Island. Zunari is also responsible for giving you the sail that you use on the King of Red Lions. You can go around to the different Gorons at certain islands to trade Zunari's items and expand his stock. At the end, you'll receive the Magic Armour.
9. Which button is not used in the song 'Minuet of Forest'?

Answer: Down-C

The song goes: A, Up-C, Left-C, Right-C, Left-C, Right-C. The 'Minuet of Forest' is a song taught to you by Sheik in the Sacred Forest Meadow; just outside the Forest Temple. Like all other songs taught to you by Sheik, 'Minuet of Forest' will teleport you.
10. What is the name of the winged bear in "Oracle of Ages" and "Oracle of Seasons"?

Answer: Moosh

Moosh can be found in the graveyard in "Oracle of Ages", and at the base of the mountain in "Oracle of Seasons". Unlike Ricky and Dimitri (the other two friendly animals), Moosh can fly over gaps and holes in the ground, but like Ricky and Dimitri, you can use a horn to call Moosh.
