Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Hello, kupo! The moogles are a beloved part of the "Final Fantasy" franchise, appearing in many of the games and with several variations. But in which game did moogles first appear?

Answer: Final Fantasy III

The concept was in fact created for "Final Fantasy II", but was scrapped in that game in favor of the BADGER. So then it was reintroduced in "Final Fantasy III", and the race has appeared in some fashion in nearly every main series title since with the exception of "Final Fantasy IV", kupo!
2. In "Final Fantasy V", one of the characters had a "pet" moogle that they could communicate with! Which character was it, kupo?

Answer: Krile

I'm not sure if the moogle in "Final Fantasy V" is actually a pet, because moogles are VERY intelligent.... but this one does live in a human's room rather than in the Village with other moogles, kupo!
3. "Final Fantasy VI" was the first game in the series where a moogle was a playable character, kupo! So what was this moogle's name?

Answer: Mog

It's Mog, kupo! The word "mog" is also sometimes used instead of "moogle" in some games, and there are also other moogles named Mog in other games as well. The other names that you could have picked are of moogles that appear in other games, who may or may not be mentioned in other questions in this quiz...
4. Moogles are called mogs in "Final Fantasy VII", and lack the traditional pom-pom that most moogles have. One character in this game travels by riding on a giant toy mog, kupo! Who is it?

Answer: Cait Sith

It's the robotic feline fortune teller, Cait Sith, kupo! Cait Sith controls his giant toy mog by shouting in a megaphone- how cool is that?
5. In "Final Fantasy IX", there is a HUGE sidequest involving delivering mail for moogles to other moogles. What is the name of the moogle mail service, kupo?

Answer: Mognet

Mognet is the mail service in "Final Fantasy IX", and there are a LOT of moogles to deliver mail to in the extensive sidequest. Like, over 20, kupo!
6. Also in "Final Fantasy IX", there is a moogle you can call on the world map to help you save your game, kupo. But if you keep calling him for no reason, he'll get angry, say he's sharpening his knife, and even yell at you! Who is this moogle that you really shouldn't annoy, kupo?

Answer: Moguo

It is Moguo who is able to be summoned (and annoyed) on the world map, kupo. The other three also appear in "Final Fantasy IX" - Stiltzkin is a merchant, Artemicion is in charge of the Mognet, and Monty is the very first moogle you meet in this game, kupo!
7. In "Final Fantasy X", the only appearance of moogles is as a doll-like weapon usable by one of your party members. Who is the wielder of these magical moogle dolls, kupo?

Answer: Lulu

Lulu, the master of black magic uses the moogle dolls as her weapon sometimes. In fact, the weapon she starts with is a moogle, kupo! She has lots of other dolls like cactuars, moombas, Cait Sith dolls, and even dolls of Pupu the alien.
8. In "Final Fantasy X-2", one of the characters appears early in the game in an optional scene dressed in a moogle costume! If approached, the girl in the moogle outfit heals your party, and you find out later in the game in a flashback who it was. So, who was dressed up like a moogle, kupo?

Answer: Yuna

Yuna was disguised as a moogle while Rikku and Paine were chasing a Yuna imposter named LeBlanc, kupo. She also dons the moogle costume if she uses the mascot dressphere!
9. In "Final Fantasy XII", a big part of the game is Clan Hunts, in which someone posts a bill for a monster to be hunted, and Vaan and his friends can get some pretty neat stuff for completing these hunts. If Vaan decides to partake in these hunts, he has to join Clan Centurio. What moogle is in charge of this noble clan, kupo?

Answer: Montblanc

Montblanc, who also appears in "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" as a playable character, is the leader of Clan Centurio, kupo. The others I mentioned are three of Montblanc's five siblings (along with Gurdy and Horne.)
10. Also in "Final Fantasy XII", a moogle is the head mechanic for Balthier's airship, the Strahl. Which of Montblanc's five siblings is this, kupo?

Answer: Nono

Nono is the mechanic moogle in charge of the upkeep of the mighty Strahl. Hurdy, Horne, and Sorbet run three of the five moogling stations used for teleporting inside the city of Rabanastre. And Gurdy? She's in charge of chocobo rentals throughout many places in Ivalice, kupo!
