Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. You awaken in a maze of temples and puzzles. Who is the God who greets and welcomes you?

Answer: Elohim

You end up awakening in an extensive maze of temples and ruins, all of which were built, as it seems, solely for you. An omniscient voice, that of Elohim, guides you and insists that you should both seek the sigils hidden throughout the puzzles therein and avoid climbing the tower into the heavens.

While it is suggested that you may attain eternal life by collecting all of the hidden treasures around the ruins, ascending the tower would spell certain death. Naturally, this is intriguing.
2. Which of these will kill you in an attempt to protect a sigil?

Answer: Sentry

Sentries, while robotic in nature, are only ever referred to by the one name, and they will appear in a number of different levels as guardians of the sigils. Their protection, as Elohim states, is to challenge you so that your faith may be strengthened by their imposition. Fortunately, there are ways of preventing Sentries from harming you. Active Sentries, for instance, can be killed by turrets if they stray too close, and different items can block or deactivate them.
3. Which of these refers to an item which can block the electrical charge on a gate?

Answer: Jammer

The Jammer is a tripod device which, when properly aimed, is able to block any electrical device from performing its task. This may, for example, apply to a gate which would normally be opened with a beam and a Connector device or, in other cases, it could be used to block a Sentry from moving or being active.

In later puzzles, the use of a Jammer (or multiple) can become much trickier as timing and other items play into the unique puzzles. You can not jam a Jammer.
4. Computers found throughout the temples and ruins will link you up with which of these?

Answer: The Milton Library Archives

Computer terminals can be found in nearly every area of the world, often as you emerge from a teleportation device or enter a new temple. Connecting to the Milton Library Archives on most occasions, each terminal will bring forth locally-accessible files ranging from .dat files to emails to wiki articles to texts, all of which will be logged to your personal journal for further reference.

While many of these are cryptic, they offer a bit of insight into your confusing situation. The terminals also connect you with a possibly deceiving being on the other end who will ask you questions under a possible guise of granting you admin certification to the network.

Its questions, philosophical in nature for the most part, are allegedly designed to determine whether or not you are a bot.
5. Can red and blue beam streams intersect with the use of a Connector?

Answer: No

As you progress through Area A, you'll quickly come across yellow sigils which, in early stages of the game, will unlock items, the first of which is a Connector. The connector is used to split and reflect streams of light which emerge as a beam from units found in temple walls as early as area A-4. Red and blue beams can be found in different areas, but they can not intersect, even if broken by Connectors, or they will not reach their intended target.
6. Area B is themed around what geographical location?

Answer: Desert

Area A seems to be set amongst Greek or Roman ruins, Area B is in an Egyptian desert (complete with, in some areas, pyramids and a Sphinx), and Area C is set in a medieval meadow. While these areas are merely backdrops for the ruins and puzzles found within, their significances, and the orders they are found in, don't serve a higher purpose, though in some cases their unique architectures and features play into puzzles, even in their main lobbies.
7. Which of these items is found the latest during your travels?

Answer: Platform

While the Hexahedron (cube) and Fan are found early on along the journey, the Recorder makes its first appearance in Area B (the desert) and the Platform appears in Area C, becoming the last object to be added to your arsenal to solve puzzles and collect sigils.

The catch is that the Platform is really only useful when you have a Recorder handy to create a duplicate of yourself, otherwise the inanimate objects found along your path won't be able to make use of it.
8. Secret golden sigils can be found throughout the game. What shape will they be?

Answer: Star

Golden Sigils are important for the completionists out there since they'll convert into puzzle tetrads which can be used to open doors to bonus regions found in each area of the game. As such you'll locate thirty of them during your travels, requiring ten for each gate. Each bonus area allows you to collect three (of a total nine) grey sigils which are needed late in the game...if you decide to defy Elohim.
9. At the end of Area C, you'll be allowed to exit through a door of bright light. This will lead you to what end?

Answer: You'll be deactivated

In this, most basic ending of the game (there are three possible endings) you are eternalized. Walking through the open door in the lobby of World C will lead you to a cloud-filled area and a golden gated room containing one last computer terminal where, if you decide, you can end your processes, log your memory, reset your coding, and deactivate, becoming one more in a line of successful test subjects. You'll then be able to recommence the tests from the very beginning. Of course, this doesn't satisfy the most inquisitive minds...
10. How many floors of the tower can be reached by elevator?

Answer: Six

In order to achieve the 'Transcend' ending, you need to complete five puzzles in the tower and gain assistance from the imprisoned Sheppard to reach the top. This will result in you achieving consciousness in the real world as the virtual platform is destroyed.
To achieve the 'Transform' ending, however, you need to access the sixth floor of Elohim's tower and use Thirty gold stars and nine grey sigils to access the game's final puzzle.
