Answer: Megapolis, Endako

When Ratchet navigates the city of Megapolis on Planet Endako, he'll find Clank's apartment, but Clank won't be in it. Instead, his Swingshot and Grindboots will be there, allowing him to exit the apartment and return to the starting area of the level.

Answer: Megacorp Outlet, Oozla

The Tractor Beam can be purchased from the Megacorp salesman on Planet Oozla for 1000 bolts. The device allows Ratchet to move special objects with a target on them, which can reveal hidden areas, or provide a means of accessing a higher area. Just after purchasing the Tractor Beam, Ratchet can acquire one of his first Platinum Bolts.

Answer: Mining Area, Tabora

The Glider is a nifty little gadget that allows Ratchet to, well, glide. Using special launch pads, Ratchet can glide from one area to another where a path is not present. However, should he hit anything, he'll crash, and have to start all over again. The first Glider path is on Planet Tabora, another on Planet Dobbo, and a third on Planet Grelbin.

Answer: Megacorp Armory, Todano

A secret area in one of the rooms in the Megacorp Armory leads outside to an area where a Captain Qwark fanatic waits. However, a hostile airship blocks Ratchet's way, so it must be taken out before approaching the fanatic. He gives Ratchet the Armor Magnetizer, a device that can attract bolts from a distance, in exchange for a Qwark action figure, that Ratchet receives from the Plumber on the Flying Lab on Planet Aranos.

Answer: Thugs-4-Less Fleet, Gorn

The Ghost Ship is found on Planet Gorn as part of the space combat challenges. The third challenge sees Ratchet piloting his spaceship to shoot down a Thugs-4-Less ship that has returned from destruction. The ship can only be damaged when it has a solid form, but when it turns into a 'ghost', it cannot take any damage.

Answer: Silver City, Boldan

When the PlayStation internal clock reaches 3:00am, the teleporter in Silver City will allow access to the Insomniac Museum. The teleporter can be found by choosing the left staircase near the beginning of the level, and jumping to the top of a dry fountain.

The city clock can be seen in the distance, which follows the time of the console's internal clock. Alternatively, if you don't want to wait or set the clock to 3:00am, you can access the museum from the grind rails. Just before entering the construction site section of the rails, jump off and glide down to the ground. Walk over to a large building in the distance, and you'll be walk underneath it, and jump up inside.

Some Thugs-4-Less guards will ambush you and guard the teleporter. Once they have been disposed of, you can access the museum.

The museum is found on the Planet Burbank (in NTSC games), and Planet Dantopia (in PAL games).

Answer: Canal City, Notak

The chemical factory on Planet Notak is where the Thief was spotted. Ratchet must make his way through the factory, making good use of the Thermanator to freeze and thaw pools. The only enemies in this factory are Chickenbots and Pool Sharks. At the end, some Worker Bots sell Ratchet and Clank a transmission containing coordinates to the Frozen Base on Planet Siberius.

Answer: Maktar Resort, Maktar Nebula

The B2 Brawler is a tough foe in the arena challenges at the Maktar Resort. Originating from the Planet Cerebella, B2 is a huge alien that shoots at you from high up, then falls to the floor and starts to spin. This can mean bad news if Ratchet gets too close, as the spinning legs will knock him away, possibly even off the edge of the arena onto the electrified floor.

The key to beating B2 is to keep moving and strafing, dodging when it shoots, and then running far away from B2 when it starts spinning.

The Blitz Gun, Gravity Bomb and Miniturret Glove are helpful in bringing it down.

Answer: Tundor Wastes, Grelbin

Angela Cross, who turns out to be the Thief, lives on Planet Grelbin. To get to her house, Ratchet must undertake a perilous journey through the ice wastes, defeating Arctic Leviathans and Y.E.T.I.s to gather Moonstones, and must battle Receiver Bots in the subterranean mine shafts to open a passage to Angela's house.

It does, however, have a good reward - Angela gives Ratchet her Megacorp ID card, so they can get into the Protopet Factory and put a stop to Fizzwidget and the Protopets.

Answer: Wupash Nebula

As Ratchet and Clank travel from the Megacorp Outlet to the Maktar Resort, they are ambushed by Thugs-4-Less in the Wupash Nebula. Although not specifically stated on screen that they have entered the Wupash Nebula if immediately continuing on from Planet Oozla, it will display the name Wupash Nebula if you have just loaded the game from that point.
