3. Bay station has an abandoned lower level. What was it used for?

Answer: Interlining of the east-west and north-south lines

When the system was first built, the Yonge line and Bloor-Danforth line were interlined so that one could travel from the east or west to downtown without changing trains. This prooved to be unreliable, and the interlining was cancelled only six months after it began. Now, the TTC rents the platform for filming.

Answer: Short Turn

Sometimes, especially during rush hours, bus routes are cut short to make up time.

Answer: Greenwood

7. What is unique about route 99?

Answer: It loops.

Route 99 is a looping route. Meaning, it only travels in one direction on each street that it serves. West on Sheppard Avenue, North on Arrow Road, East on Finch Avenue, South on Jane Street. No other bus route in Toronto does this. In addition, it is also the only route that does not stop at any subway station.
8. Which is the largest subway station in Toronto?

Answer: Spadina

Spadina was originally supposed to be two seperate stations. The north wing was supposed to be Kendal station. The TTC combined the two stations to save money. The north wing of Spadina station (Kendal Avenue), does not have a collector booth, only automated gates.
9. Which Toronto subway station has the most levels?

Answer: Kennedy

Kennedy has four levels. Subway level, mezzanine, bus level, and RT train level. No other station has this many levels.
