Answer: Arkansas

The Apple Blossom is also the State Flower of Michigan. It has been the State Flower of Michigan for over one hundred years. The Apple Blossom also means 'good fortune.'
2. Which state has the Peach Blossom for their state flower?

Answer: Delaware

The Peach Blossom is the state flower of Delaware; and means 'I am your captive.'
3. Native Violet?

Answer: Illinois

The Blue Violet means 'faithfulness.' The word violet also means 'modesty.' All wives should be sure to give this flower to their husbands. There are two different versions of this State Flower, the Dooryard Violet and the Blue Violet. The Dooryard Violet is edible and mostly used for cake decorations.
4. White Pine Cone?

During the Chicago World's Fair of 1893, all of the states were asked to adopt a flower. Maine had three choices to pick from. Their choices were: The Apple Blossom, The Goldenrod, and The White Pine Cone and Tassel. The choice was obvious, considering the state's overpowering White Pine Trees.

The flower is actually on the tree, and spreads a nice smell that attracts insects to help pollinate the seeds.

The reason that this flower is called the Lady Slipper is because of the shape of the flower. This flower is also called the Moccasin Flower.

The Yucca Flower is actually a Soaptree Yucca. This flower can grow up to twenty feet tall. It is also commonly called 'Little Palm'. When the moon is out, this flower glows and is called 'Our Lord's Candles.'

The Mountain Laurel Flower is also the State Flower for Connecticut. This flower is very popular in the east. A few reasons that this flower was picked for Pennsylvania is because: the leaves have a keystone shape to {them;} it is found in full bloom at the end of May, when Memorial Day is celebrated in the United States.
8. Bluebonnet?

Answer: Texas

This beautiful flower is named the Bluebonnet, because it looks very much like a lady's sunbonnet. It blooms in the early part of spring and can be found in South and Central Texas. This flower is also known as the 'Buffalo Clover' and the 'Wolf Flower.'
9. Sego Lily?

Answer: Utah

The Sego Lily became the State Flower in 1911. The word Sego is a Native American word, and is used to describe the different varieties found only in Utah. Native Americans and early Mormons used this flower in their daily diets. The Lily flower means 'innocence and purity.'
10. Hawthorn?

Answer: Missouri

The Hawthorn was declared the State Flower of Missouri on March 16, 1923. This flower is also known as the 'red haw' or 'white haw.' The Hawthorn is also a member of the great rose family, which looks similar to the apple group.
