It's raining Epics. Two in under a week. I have the Triple White now. That's six triples down. Two left. All that remains now is Orange ... and the elusive Green. Ha. Andy, so it's *your* fault I don't have it in my challenge list today? I knew something was up. I would have been absolutely slack-jawed if another Epic, much less one I don't yet have, had come knocking. It may well be a LONG time before I see either of the final two. Does only the original three DCs (easy, medium, difficult) count for getting an epic next day? Or is it an easy, medium, and difficult combination out of any four (gold members) or five (given by a fairy) challenges in one day that might give an epic on the next day? Reply #106. Generally, you don't get a 4th Challenge if you haven't completed the original 3 (except in the case of Challenges that don't score until midnight, like Nemesis). Not sure what the system looks for, but I would imagine it at least looks for completions in each of the three levels. Chavs, I agree it would be nice to get more prestige for doing the 3-flag Epics a second time, but at least you do get the 2500 FT points :-) And, of course, you can just ignore that 3-flag repeat Epic that drove you crazy the first time you did it (which is generally my inclination when confronted with one). @postcards2go - Okay, thank you for your note. When I wake up, one of my rituals is to check the topics in GC and DCs. So, if your last sentence is correct, it gives me more motivation to work more on DCs, especially on those days with the midnight-scoring challenges. I got an epic challenge just now, but it's bugged. It's the three flag white, which SHOULD dump three more challenges on me along with the typical three someone starts the day with. I just have the extra three, and they're all difficult. No easy or medium challenge to be seen. Could I get a reset on my daily challenges? That's the problem, I didn't get my "normal" daily challenges (one easy, medium and difficult each), just the three bonus ones that the three flag white epic gave me (three difficult challenges). So if I completed that, it'd be doing half the work usually required for the challenge, even if the three challenges I have could be considered a tough set.
