I've seen way too many of both, especially orange flags. Just keep doing your 3 daily challenges and you'll see them sooner or later. Epics definitely seem more frequent than they once were before the changes to the daily challenges a little over a year ago. Reply #84. Jan 27 24, 5:02 PM |

Ah, I will now have to surrender to the epic white flag with a white flag. I will have to go to sleep in a bit. I do not mind losing, but I made about two to three strategic blunders today. I mean I used all my strikes (white flag seekers know what I am talking about) today. However, if I had not used them strikes, I would have just achieved the epic white flag. I then used my Mullys (have to obfuscate actual names to mitigate disclosures about the epic requirements). However, if I had not used them Mullys, I would have achieved the epic white flag. Ah, why was not I thinking at the time? That is why I feel a bit sad. I will hope for a confidence boost soon. Also, I have three single epic flags. If you have a single, the next one of that same color will be a double. If you have a double, the next one of that same color will be a triple. The *only* way to get the same number of flags for the same color you already have is if you have a triple, because triple is as high as it goes. Reply #86. Feb 12 24, 8:41 PM |

Good grief, the Double Orange was a colossal time-taker to pull off. I can hardly imagine knocking down the triple variant. I'm just curious. I was asked for, I think, 8850 for 15 topics -- is that the same number as others recall receiving at double? It was a long time ago, but I kept notes. My target was 8700 for double and 12200 for triple. My notes say I stayed up to 4 am to finish the triple. Some triples I'll do again for the points. I don't recall about the double but I earned (and I do mean earned!) the triple - goal was 10600 points in each of the 18 categories. This was back in 2014 before the increase in points for players via Prestige so it could be a bit easier now unless the point goals have been adjusted. Like most, this is one I never attempt to repeat. I failed the triple at least once prior to earning it. Rossian, 4 a.m. is nothing. I made it with less than a minute to spare in the Fun Trivia day. I was so close to not making it that my last points scored on the next day since the Epic cut off at midnight but the Most Points count changed at 11:50. Reply #93. Mar 09 24, 2:19 PM |

Dagny, I don't think the change to points based on prestige affects the orange epic (beyond the fact that you'll earn more Fun Trivia points in completing it). The points need for the badge are the timed mode points similar to those in a duel whereas the prestige bonus affect how many permanent points you earn. Reply #94. Mar 09 24, 4:28 PM |

Sorry, Andy, I didn't make myself clear. I didn't know what to call it, but it's once you reach a higher level - once you reach Visionary 20e, you get "now earn +5 points for every question correct." Got it, you are exactly right, Andy. I was so curious that I went to play a quiz in time mode, got all ten correct and my score, which would be the one relevant to the orange flag, was 983. You're welcome, Dagny. My recommendation is that anytime you see triple orange, don't walk but run as far away as possible (except for those who don't have it yet).
