The FIFA World Cup was stolen while on display at a rare stamp exhibit. A ransom note was demanding 15,000 pounds for the return of the Cup. The police arrested Edward Betchley who claimed he was not the actual thief. He served two years anyway. Within a week "Pickles" the dog managed to find the trophy in a parked car and Pickles' owner claimed the 5,000-pound reward.
