The Beatles' recording "You'll Be Mine" (1960).
The earliest Beatles recording credited to Lennon–McCartney to be officially released is "You'll Be Mine", recorded at home in 1960 and included on "Anthology 1" 35 years later.

At that time in the Beatles' early years, the group were known as the Quarrymen.

"You'll Be Mine" was recorded at 20 Forthlin Road, Liverpool, at a time when The Beatles were struggling to make progress as a group. The recordings are the only ones known to feature Stuart Sutcliffe on bass. I wasn't released until 1995.
