He shunted a very indignant Thomas because of an Express special he was carrying (Thomas eventually forgave him), he accidentally steamed away with a cricket ball in his trucks, leading to a chase across the whole Island, and taking a train with Duck when a Diesel broke down. He was very sad to leave the Railway.

He would repeatedly feign illness to get out of work (which led to Peter Sam being involved in a nasty accident), his new 'Steam roller' wheels led him to have an accident with the Steam roller George and he almost fell of the mountain on his first train trip with Duke. Sir Handel admires Gordon immensely.
