Answer: Inception

"Inception" is a visual masterpiece by director Christopher Nolan ("Dark Knight" series). Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a thief who steals secrets through people's dreams. He is considered the best at what he does, but that comes at a price - uncertainty as to what is real or not. Through dream-sharing technology, he and his team are able to do their work together. Cobb has been experimenting with implanting an idea in another person's mind. The problem is that the idea has to originate deep within them, or the brain will recognize that it's artificially created. To do this, the team has to go three layers deep. Since time doesn't pass the same in our dreams, one hour could feel like six and vice versa. The deeper you go within a person, the slower time goes. What would feel like a lifetime could only be two hours. Can Cobb get in, implant the idea, and get out before time expires and he's stuck in the dream world forever? You'll have to watch to find out...and maybe even have to watch again.

"Limitless" was released in March of 2011 and was directed by Neil Burger. Bradley Cooper stars as Edward Morra, a man who takes a new drug, called NZT-48, as an experiment. When he runs out of the pills, however, the side effects he experiences could be deadly, especially if you go off the pill cold turkey. I will not tell you how he managed to solve this problem, as that would be a spoiler, and spoilers are never any fun.

Ben Stiller is one of the top actors in Hollywood and his roles are of a comedic nature. He is also a director, producer and has an extensive background in television work. He has acted in the movie "Little Fockers". This movie also starred Jennifer Jason Leigh and she wrote it as well. Critics gave this film a thumbs up and rates it as one of the better comedies of the year. Noah Baumbach, well known for his funny movies, directed this one.

In this twisted, tangled mess of a movie, Cal's (Steve Carell) wife, Emily (Julianne Moore) reveals that she has had an affair with David Lindhagen (Kevin Bacon) - a fact that Cal tells anyone who will listen. Cal has a chance meeting with Jacob (Ryan Gosling), who takes Cal under his wing to teach him how to succeed in the singles market. Jacob takes Cal shopping for new clothes, teaches him all the pick-up tricks, and generally helps Cal get his mojo back. In the meantime, Hannah (Emma Stone) meets Jacob and the two fall for each other. The problem with this is that Hannah is Cal's daughter and, knowing Jacob's pick-up tricks, Cal forbids her to see Jacob again. In this scene, Jacob is trying to get to the heart of why Cal is so reluctant to move on from Emily.

Oh yeah, there's also another story within the film where Cal's son falls in love with the family's babysitter. His middle-school attempts to win her affections - she's a high school student, after all - are cringe-worthy. So how does it end? Watch and find out!

Answer: Brazil

Leonardo is what might be called "your average lad". He is friendly and smart and he has a fierce independence that most teenagers have, though his blindness makes his parents extra doting and careful. Whilst trying to deal with the every day difficulties a blind person experiences, Leonardo's life is made more complex by the introduction of Gabriel, whom he becomes fond of and eventually realises that he is sexually attracted to. It is tempting to draw the cliche that "love is blind", but it is also important to take away this film's message that "same sex love is okay". Very little is said about the taboo of same sex relationships (not to mention those in school), and the main issue Leonardo faces is that he has developed feelings for his close friend; the fact that his friend is male seems neither here nor there. Negative, bigoted comments are limited to one schoolmate who does not receive the approval he wants from the rest of the class, and this may be representative of the attitude of Brazil, which legalised gay marriage in 2013.

Liam Neeson was originally cast in the title role, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. The drama centered on the president's efforts to pass important legislation, rather than on the familiar biographical story found in other films.

"Source Code" was directed by Duncan Jones, and was released in April of 2011. Jake Gyllenhaal plays the role of Colter Stevens, a man who finds himself in the body of "Sean Fentress", as he relives a train explosion over and over. His mission; find who caused the train to explode, and locate the next target of the bomber. Did he succeed? Well, that would be a spoiler now, wouldn't it?

Zuckerberg is a Harvard student who decides to create a website after his girlfriend breaks up with him. He creates "FaceMash", a page where male students rate the attractiveness of female undergraduates. After being punished and put on academic probation his newly created page garners attention and popularity. With the help from his friends and connections his initial brainstorm leads to the eventual launch of Facebook.

Of course this quote is from "The Avengers". In one of the first scenes that has all of the superheroes together, Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) is squaring off with Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) - and not for the last time, either. As would be expected when so many talented people are put in one place, there is a kind of power struggle between Rogers and Stark that would last (off and on) until the end of the series. Rogers, provoking Stark, asks him "Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?" Stark's answer is this quote.

Answer: Awakening

In "Underworld: Awakening", humans are aware of the existence of vampires and lycans. During the fight, they have captured Selene and renamed her Subject 1. Further on, we see a young girl named Eve (Subject 2) who turns out to be a hybrid born of the union of Selene and Michael. Together, mother, daughter and several other vampires fight against the humans and lycans.

Answer: Inception

This movie was written, produced and directed by Christopher Nolan and distributed by Warner Brothers. It was given rave reviews by the critics and grossed over 62 million on its opening weekend. Other notable stars in this movie are Michael Caine and Tom Berenger.

Answer: The Raid 2

This film is exquisitely choreographed, more gritty and realistic than many of its predecessors, and lacking the superhuman abilities of other popular films such as "The Matrix" or "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". "The Raid 2" has another unique quality in that it is seen by many to have outshone the prequel (which was released in 2011). Though both have outstanding action sequences, "The Raid 2" arguably has the stronger storyline. Tense scenes of Rama going undercover to befriend the criminals he is trying to bring down, as well as more complex villains, add an extra layer to this film, allowing it to avoid being just another punch-up.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" stars "Twilight's" Bella as Snow White, the princess who escapes her evil Stepmother, the Queen Ravenna. In the Dark Forest, she meets the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who is sent by the Queen to capture her in exchange for which the Queen will resurrect his dead wife. Knowing that the Queen does not possess such powers, he becomes Snow White's protector and even trains her in self-defense. "Mirror Mirror" is also a Snow White movie without the huntsman. "The Dark Knight Rises" came out in June 2012. Selina Kyle (Catwoman) steals Bruce Wayne's fingerprints in an attempt to erase her criminal record. She is betrayed, forcing the reclusive Wayne (Batman) to come out of hiding and fight for himself and Selina.

When the toys arrive at Sunnyside they meet up with other toys. Initially happy with the arrangement, Andy's toys soon realize that the daycare is a toy prison and then, with the help of Woody, try to escape. In the end all is well as they get away. Based on a true story, "The Theory of Everything" is a chronicle of both the professional and personal lives of Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) and his wife Jane (Felicity Jones). We see their courtship, marriage, and the onset of his disease (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS). We also Hawking defend his master's thesis and ultimately, his doctorate. The interesting thing about his doctoral thesis is that it refutes his master's thesis. He was basically correcting himself. Even though Hawking's body failed him, his mind was still unbelievably sharp.

In this scene, Jane and Stephen, both university students, are just meeting each other and are talking about their majors and their interests.

Eddie Redmayne won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Hawking. Felicity Jones was nominated for Best Actress but did not win.

Answer: Starting a punk band

Best friends Klara and Bobo refuse to believe that punk is dead and want to start a band. Not put off by their jeering classmates or the fact that they're not particularly musically talented, the persevere and recruit another girl, Hedvig, for her skills with a guitar. As the film progresses, we see the girls get into mischief (such as shaving Hedvig's hair, much to her mother's horror) and having fun. The film could be criticised for not developing some of its storylines (such as the relationships with the other punk group they befriend) to their full extent, but this does give the film a certain reality. Overall, the film is endearing and is won by the performances of the young actors.

This was the eighth time Depp and Burton collaborated on a film. As a centuries-old vampire awakened after a slumber in modern times, Johnny Depp gave a quirky performance.

Answer: The Hunger Games

"The Hunger Games" is an interesting movie. It relates the story of Katniss Everdeen, who lives in District 12 with her mother and sister. This movie takes place in a post-apocalyptic nation where people are poor and hardly have the means to feed themselves. The game is somehow a punishment for the district who previously rebelled against the Capitol. Katniss gets involved when her sister is chosen to compete, and she volunteers to take her place. There, she faces several other tributes but by her side is Peeta, a boy of District 12 who has feelings for her.

Answer: Rango

"Rango" was directed by Gore Verbinski, and starred Johnny Depp as Rango (Verbinski seems to make a habit of using Depp in his films). The film was released in March of 2011. In the film, Rango has to help a small town refill their banks; which is the town's water supply, not money.

Answer: Grown Ups

The movie is focused on the quintet, who are now middle-aged, pursuing various lifestyles, getting together at the coach's funeral and subsequently at the lake for the 4th of July weekend. The boys end up playing a challenge match against their old rivals from back in high school.
