Thora Birch played Dani, and Allison was the girl who later became Max's girlfriend. Numerous times in the movie Thackery Binx mentioned his sister's name. Her name could also be seen on the gravestone in the begining of the movie, when Binx told Dani, Allison, and Max about what happened 300 years ago.

Emily was Binx's sister who died in the beginning of the movie, thanks to the Sanderson sisters' spell that caused her to lose her life force. She only appeared twice in the movie. This was said at the end of the movie because her spirit returned after the three sisters were beaten. She was waiting for Thackery (Binx) for three hundred years because he couldn't die thanks to another one of the Sanderson sister's spells.

Becca quickly opened a bag of salt and made a salt ring. As she poured the salt, it glowed blue. By doing this, Becca and Izzy were protected. When Winifred tried to cast a spell on them, it ricocheted and the teens were able to escape. When there were hints of magic happening, you would see a blue glow. She did show magic in the dungeon, garage, and in the final forest scenes, but the drugstore came first.

Gilbert untied Book and removed it from the case. Book burst open and the light emitted as a beacon for the Sanderson sisters. "Gilbert the Great" explained that he was the Sanderson sisters "biggest fan". He was a child in 1993, and was present when the Sanderson sisters were sent back to their "death" in the cemetery. After the sisters demise, he went back to the sisters home and found Book. He has had it since 1993. Gilbert's magic shop is the original Sanderson sisters home.

When the sisters arrived, Winifred put Becca and Izzy in the "dungeon" of the house. Mary showed Winifred the re-election flyers of Mayor Jefry Traske. She assumed he was a direct descendant of Reverend Traske. Winifred decided to rid Salem of Mayor Traske.

She hates it when she is called ugly by Dani because it hurts her feelings. After Max pours out all but a vile of the potion, Winifred goes after Dani since she called her ugly.

Allison tells of a legend about the book, and how it was given to Winnifred Sanderson by the devil himself. She says that it was bound by human flesh.

When the witches turned to dust all of their spells were broken, including Thackery Binx's eternal life as a cat spell, and the parents of Salem's "Dance, Until you Die" spell.

This was the last line in the movie (not counting the parents when they left the town hall, or the bullies when they were singing.) Thackery (Binx) was trying to die to be reunited with his family. This was because Winnifred turned him into a cat, granting him eternal life. He said this to his sister because she was waiting for him to break the curse, or to wait for the curse to be broken.
