In "Mamma Mia!" she sang a duet with Stellan Skarsgard or Bill at the end. She danced on the table for him! Ahhhhh love! Rosie is a person who likes to drink and lives in London, England.

Sophie was a young girl who hoped to one day learn who her father was. She told a couple of her friends she planned on locating him. The idea she had in mind was inviting three men who could very well be her dad to attend her wedding, since it was tradition that the father gives his daughter away at her nuptials. Sophie was played by Amanda Seyfried, who portrayed Joni Stafford on the ABC soap opera, "All My Children", from 2002 to 2003.

After Donna has discovered that the dads are in her old goat house she tells them to get on Bill's boat and leave. Sophie finds them on the boat and swims to them. Once she is aboard she notices that Harry has taken her mother's guitar. Harry quickly points that he only borrowed the guitar, and that he was the one who gave it to her. He turns the guitar over and points out the initials DS, for Donna Sheridan, and HB for Head Banger. Sam and Bill who are standing nearby look at each other with a puzzled expression and mouth "Head Banger" together. This is when my favourite song, "Our Last Summer" begins.

Never having been married herself, Donna had mixed emotions as she prepared for the wedding of her 20 year old daughter, Sophie. She had raised Sophie by herself, and while she wanted her to be happy, she felt that she was too young to be making such a commitment, and worried that she was doing it for the wrong reasons. She had her hands full with the regular wedding preparations, while welcoming her guests into the rather rustic hotel she ran, that was in need of serious repairs.

"Take a Chance" is a hilarious part of the movie! She sang this because she likes Bill (Stellan Skarsgard and wanted him to take a chance on her. In an interview she said they didn't practice it until the first time they filmed it and it was terrifying and she wished she were drunk when she filmed it! If you've seen the movie, then I would agree with her that it would be terrifying. Bill is one of the men that Donna was dating.

Sophie rowed over to the mainland on the island where she lived in order to mail three wedding invitations. The recipients were three men that resided all over the world who she suspected might be her father. You can hear the tune titled "I Have a Dream" as she did all this.

"I Have a Dream" is the first song that is sung, but it is only sung by Sophie, and she doesn't sing the whole thing. The first full song is "Honey, Honey". When this song is being sung, Ali and Lisa learn that Sophie has three possible fathers, and she's sent them each and invitation to come to her wedding. The song is sung because Donna has slept with three different men -there has to have been a reason!

With her wedding approaching, Sophie was desperate to find out who her father was. She found her mother's old diary which spoke of romantic liaisons with three different men the summer before Sophie was born. Sophie sent wedding invitations to all three men, hoping that she would know which one was her father the minute she saw them. Of course no mention was made of how she managed to locate them to send them invitations!

This is the FIRST song that the best friends sing to cheer up Donna after she finds out that all of Sophie's dads are at the island.

Early in the film, Donna went to meet two of her friends, Rosie and Tanya, as they came to the island where she lived, via a boat. When they got into her car to go back to her home, Tanya mentioned how Rosie had written a bestseller book. Donna got back to her home with Rosie and Tanya and Sophie saw all three of the women. She screamed out "Auntie Rosie!" once she saw Rosie but the title was an honorary one, since Rosie shared no blood relation to Sophie. Rosie mentioned to Sophie how gorgeous she looked.

Throughout the movie Rosie keeps mentioning how everything is "very Greek". Rosie is played by Julie Walters, who is probably more known for her role as Mrs. Weasley in the "Harry Potter" series.
Donna and Sam were together in Greece until he had to go back to his fiance in the States. Heartbroken, Donna decided to travel to Paris where she met Harry. From there he followed her back to Greece where she stayed and helped take care of Bill's Great-Aunt Sophia, whom she named her daughter after.

Because she really didn't want her mother to know that they were there, Sophie took them on a circuitous route that ended up with them entering their large, shared room in the old goat house, through trap doors from underneath. Donna referred to the building that they were in as her old goat house at several different points to her girlfriends. This was after she heard something going on, stuck her head up through the trap door and was shocked to see the three men. When she finally confronted them (after falling through a window in the roof above their room), she asked them to leave. They left her hotel but not the area, bunking down in Bill's boat.

She wore this to make Donna laugh when she was sad, 'cause this is the second song they sing to cheer her up. In an interview I saw with her in it she said she sprained her ankle while skipping down the streets in Greece, while filming it!

Near the beginning of the movie, Donna was talking with her two friends, Rosie and Tanya, and the two of them were also singing. While they were doing both, Donna's last name was mentioned as being Sheridan.

Sophie is on Bill's boat with him, Harry, and Sam singing "Our Last Summer" when Sky calls her. This song informs Sophie of the wonderful times that her mother had with Bill, Sam, and Harry about 21 years ago. This makes Sophie wonder even more who her father is, because she now knows how special all three men were to her mother - and could be to her. After Sophie jumps off the boat and swims to shore, she and Sky sing "Lay All Your Love on Me".

The dogs are seen in the beginning of the film, when Harry is preparing to leave for Greece. During the bride's party, Harry is having a drink at the bar and Sophie approaches Harry and asks if he has any children. Harry tells her that he only has two dogs, Lucy and Kipper. I thought it was sweet though when he adds "I would have loved to have had a daughter, because I would have spoiled her rotten". Written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus (the two Bs from ABBA). "Super Trouper" was released in 1980 on the album of the same name. The name for the song came from the big stadium spotlights, featured in the video along with circus performers and the group singing the song. The single reached Number One in Great Britain but only got to Number 45 in the States.
Donna's friend were played by Julie Waters and Christine Baranski.

The reason why Donna sang this to Sam was because she didn't want to get back together. She did most of the show live and said that she thinks that people should hear her real true voice.

Midway through the film, Rosie and Tanya started singing the song, "Dancing Queen", getting Donna into a spirited mood. The three women left the villa and ventured out towards the dock, singing all the way, which attracted many other island inhabitants. This musical number went on for a couple of minutes.
