Answer: Scorpion

He fights an Unnamed Fighter, Sub Zero, Kitana, Reptile and Shang Tsung. Johnny Cage fights Scorpion and Goro. Sonya fights Kano. Scorpion is the undead yellow-vested ninja. He, along with Sub Zero, is being mind controlled by Shang Tsung. Scorpion can launch snakes out of his hands and breathe fire.

Kung Lao is perhaps one of the most recognisable characters in the Mortal Kombat video games. He is known widely for his metal slicer hat which he uses to apply many gruesome fatalities.

Ashby, born in 1960 in Atlantic Beach, Florida, landed the part of Johnny Cage. Johnny was an actor who was informed about the Mortal Kombat tournament by a colleague while filming a scene one day. Johnny went to the pier to board the boat to be taken to where the tournament was held. Along the way, he bickered with Sonya Blade but the two grew to like each other as the movie progressed. Johnny Cage had his first match with Scorpion whom he managed to defeat. After a friend of his was killed by one of Shang Tsung's confidants, Goro, Johnny Cage asked Shang Tsung if he could fight Goro. Shang Tsung approved the fight and it was at the beginning of it where he took off his sunglasses only to see Goro take them and crush them. Johnny ran away so Goro followed him and they fought alongside a mountain ledge. Johnny sideswiped Goro and he slipped over the ledge but managed to grab on to it. Johnny watched as Goro lost his grip and fell to his death. Ashby guest starred on the TV show "CSI: Miami". From 1997 to 1998, he played Dr. Brett Cooper on the primetime soap opera "Melrose Place". From 2003 to 2004, he portrayed Cameron Kirsten on the CBS daytime drama series "The Young and the Restless".

Kitana gives him this clue during their battle and again secretly while watching Liu Kang fighting Sub Zero. Liu Kang doesn't understand the clue until the middle of the match when Sub Zero creates his Ice Sphere. The element is water and Liu Kang uses it to defeat him by sending it into the Ice Sphere creating a javelin. The javelin freezes and kills Sub Zero. Note: All the moves seen in this movie are taken from the games except the Ice Sphere.

Shang Tsung disguises himself as Johnny's Master Boyd to get Johnny to come to Mortal Kombat. At the end of the movie, Johnny wins by knocking Goro off the island.

After his dream, Liu Kang returns to Temple of Light. He tells the monks he wants to take part in the Tournament to take revenge for his brother's death. The Monks don't want to let him in the Tournament. They tell him it cannot be his only reason, because then he will fail. Then Rayden shows up. Everyone falls on their knees, except Liu who doesn't recognize Rayden as God of Thunder. He calls him just a beggar. Rayden wants Liu to show him how he is going to win. Liu wants to throw himself at Rayden, but he is held by one of the monks. This is how Rayden responds.

Sonya's codename was Blackhawk. Both codenames are heard when Sonya, Liu Kang and Johnny Cage are being transported from the large dragon ship to the island via smaller row boats. She radios back to her partner Jax, but gets no response. Jax is the burly man who gets mechanical arms fitted to him in Mortal Kombat Annhiliation. He defeats Cyrax, the cyborg ninja, and even kills the enormous centaur Motaro in the end.

Shang Tsung says this to Rayden. A moment before, Johnny Cage had said to Shang he wanted to fight with Goro. Shang agrees, but says that he wants to choose his opponent for the final battle. Johnny agrees to this stipulation, and then Rayden appears. Shang tells him he is too late to change anything that has been done.
