Answer: Frog

Carl's routine of waking up and hitting his alarm clock at home transfers to when they are asleep near Paradise Falls. He wakes up and bonks a frog on the head.

Answer: Kevin

Kevin was very fond of chocolate and instantly bonded with Russell, who loved his new pet. Kevin was very fast but apparently could not fly. Kevin later turned out to be a she and a mother. She was eager to find food for her young who lived in a twisted, rocky labyrinth. Carl insisted that Russell could not keep Kevin. All the other answers are from other Pixar movies. Nemo was a fish in 'Finding Nemo'. Buzz was the space man hero in 'Toy Story' and its sequels. Wally is what the robot's name sounded like in 'Wall*E'.

Answer: Dogs

For some unexplained reason, there were dogs at Paradise Falls. Muntz had all the dogs fashioned with electronic collars. Muntz named the dogs after the Greek alphabet except for one dog named Dug. Dug knew that Muntz wanted Kevin and referred to the bird as "Dug's prisoner".

Answer: A hotdog

Russell is really happy when he sees it, but two dogs gang up on him and eat almost all his meal. While this is happening, Muntz is trying to get the dogs to stop getting excited when he says the word "treat."

They have idolized him since they were kids. Carl has his balloon with the "Spirit of Adventure" written on it, acting like he is Muntz. Then he hears Ellie doing the same thing in the abandoned house. Both Carl and Ellie have magazines and models of Muntz's uses of transportation.

Paradise Falls is the place where Muntz discovers exotic, never before seen animals. Carl, as a child, crosses his heart and promises to take Ellie to Paradise Falls. Unfortunately she dies before they get the chance to go, and Carl decides to go alone with his house in tow.

Answer: Chocolate

Russell is walking through the forest eating his chocolate bar. Then Kevin the bird, who is hiding in the bushes, eats a piece of the chocolate. Russell can't spot the bird, and it keeps eating his chocolate.

Answer: He could talk.

Dug, as the dog was called, informed Carl and Russell, that his collar gave him the ability to speak. His master had outfitted him with the collar along with the rest of the pack of dogs. Dug politely asked to take Kevin prisoner. The rest of the pack had names from the Greek alphabet. Alpha was the pack leader. Both Alpha and Dug were voiced by Pixar stand-by Bob Peterson. Delroy Lindo gave Beta his voice.

Answer: Set it on fire

Charles set Carl and his wife's house on fire to distract Carl from helping Kevin. The plan worked and Carl left Kevin to save his house. Charles was able to kidnap Kevin and get away.

Answer: Epsilon

Muntz says constantly while Russell and Carl are there that he has the best cook ever, and that's the name he gives. When Russell and Carl try to escape, Russell mentions that they haven't had dessert. Muntz agrees and says that his cook makes a fantastic Cherries Jubilee.

Answer: He hit a construction worker over the head.

On the day that Carl gets an advertisment for Shady Oaks, he hits a construction worker over the head for knocking down his mailbox. The mailbox is symbolic of Carl's marriage, a shared project, bearing both he and his wife's names. His violent actions lead him to be ordered into the retirement residence, although he never quite makes it there.

Answer: On a blimp

The blimp, called the Spirit of Adventure, was first seen in the opening sequence with the news reel. Despite the years, it was still in perfect working order. Muntz graciously invited Carl and Russell to come dine on food cooked by Epsilon. Russell received a hot dog but lost it to the dog pack. Charles Muntz got his voice from Christopher Plummer.

Answer: Leaf blower

Russell tied some balloons to himself and used a leaf blower to blow him toward the airship. It worked, but, unfortunately, Russell was captured moments after he entered the airship. Carl helped him escape and then went to rescue Kevin.

Answer: Wilderness Explorers

Russell is part of a boy scout-like, or leadership organization that lives for helping everything involved with the wilderness. Russell actually quotes their saying to Carl when they are in the forest.

Answer: He had a translation collar allowing him to speak many languages.

Dug was able to talk during the movie due to a unique collar built by Muntz. Dug was looking for a new master when he came upon Carl and Russell. He shows his loyalty to them by helping them escape from the other malevolent dogs.

Answer: He tells them to fetch a tennis ball.

Carl and Dug enter the blimp to try and free Kevin. An alarm sounds and they are soon surrounded by guard dogs. After Carl throws a tennis ball, the guard dogs chase after it, and then fight over it. By the time the dogs return to the room, Carl, Dug and Kevin are gone.

Answer: Charles Muntz's airship

Charles fell to his death leaving Carl and Russell on the airship. Kevin was taken back to her family and Carl watched his and his Ellie's house disappear below the clouds. Carl and Russell used the blimp to return home along with Dug and the other dogs.

Answer: Grape

The cap has a purple edge, which already kind of makes it look like the cap of a grape flavored soda bottle. Ellie gives this to him when Carl joins the adventure club.

He and his dad would count blue and red cars on the curb. He says this at the part when Carl and Russell are resting for the night under the house. He tells Carl his whole life story, about how his parents are separated and everything (he doesn't say everything straight up but you can read a lot between the lines).

Much of the movie takes place while Carl is old and requires a cane to walk. The tennis balls on the tips of his cane are used to distract the malevolent dogs and are also swallowed and spit up (gross!) by several characters in the movie.

Answer: Fentons

After their adventure, Carl and Russell enjoy some ice cream on the curb of Fentons. Fentons Creamery and Restaurant is an actual ice cream store located in Oakland, California. The ice cream is handmade and is still going strong after 115 years in business.

Answer: Put the cone of shame on Alpha

The cone of shame was the cone given to dogs from veterinarians to keep them from chewing stitches out or similar behavior. Alpha had previously put the cone of shame on Dug to demean him. Once the cone of shame was on Alpha, the dogs immediately called Dug, Alpha. Alpha's voice control also broke down, but it had so earlier in the film. At that time, the dogs only made fun of the voice but still respected Alpha.

Answer: Grape Soda

When Carl and his wife first met, she pinned a Grape soda pop lid to Carl's clothes like a badge. At Russell's badge ceremony, Carl pinned Russell's 'assisting the elderly' badge onto his sash along with the grape soda badge Ellie gave Carl. He referred to it as the highest honor Carl could bestow. Russell was prouder of that badge than the badge his scout leader gave him.

Answer: Venezuela

Carl buys it to let Ellie know that he is going to fulfill their childhood dream of seeing Paradise Falls. Unfortunately, she dies before they can carry the plan out.

Answer: It isn't revealed.

Nothing is ever said (or rather shown) of how she dies. The music just gets really somber and depressing and the last thing you see is her in the hospital bed with Carl by her side.
