Surahs are like chapters of the Qu'ran. Surah Al-Fatihah, or "The Opening" is the first of 114 surahs. Al-Fatihah reads:

It is a symbol of their history, not of the Islamic faith. In fact, a significant number of Muslims consider it a pagan icon!
