Answer: Zephyr

Zephyr, or Zephyros, was the Greek god of the west wind. Babar, the fictional King of the Elephants, gave Zephyr the monkey to his friend the old lady to thank her for helping look after the wounded elephants after the battle with the rhinoceroses.

The Ford Zephyr was first produced in Dagenham, UK in 1951. Later models were also manufactured in Australia, New Zealand, Rhodesia and South Africa.

The California Zephyr, or Silver Lady, originally ran from 1949 until 1970. Amtrak used the name for the service they introduced in 1983. The route runs through Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California.

Stuart and David Nicol formed the indie band The Zephyrs in Edinburgh, Scotland, and released their first album in 1999. Along with Robert Dillam, Emily Hall and Will Bates they produce shoe-gazing folk-rock style music.

6. What do an enchantress, the wife of Urien in the Arthurian legends, a breed of American horse developed in the late 18th century, and a species of British sports car which has been built with three wheels rather than four, have in common?

Answer: Morgan

Morgan le Fay was both a queen and a practitioner of the dark arts in many of the stories about King Arthur, his life and times. She is often depicted as the enemy of Arthur. The Morgan horse probably derives from a single stallion, Figure, who was owned by Justin Morgan.

The Morgan horse was used extensively during the Civil War and has since been exported to England for cross-breeding. Since 1910, the Morgan Motor Company has produced small numbers of hand-crafted sporting cars. The original three-wheelers had two wheels in front and one in the back, and were classified as motorcycles by the English government. From 1936 on, Morgan built four-wheelers, as well.

7. What word links Oscar Wilde's creation, Lady Bracknell, and a creation of golfing legend Bobby Jones?

Answer: Augusta

Augusta Bracknell is the dominant figure of authority in Oscar Wilde's 1895 play "The Importance of Being Earnest". Memorable lines include "To lose one parent, Mr Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness".

Bobby Jones was an outstanding amateur golfer who had a hand in the creation and design of the Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament which started in 1934 and which it hosts every April. This was after he had become the only golfer to win the then Grand Slam of four major tournaments: The Open, the US Open, the US Amateur and the British Amateur. He made a killing with the bookmakers by betting on himself to achieve the feat. The Masters was to become one of modern golf's major tournaments.

9. What word links a film starring Will Smith as a Miami-Dade detective to a British television series set in Larkhall, a fictional women's prison?

Answer: Bad

"Bad Boys" was Michael Bay's directorial debut, and had an impressive all-star cast that included Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and Téa Leoni. The plot of the film revolved around two Miami-Dade detectives (played by Smith and Lawrence), and their attempts to protect an important witness (Leoni), while also simultaneously trying to recover the $100 million of heroin that was stolen from their police vault at the start of the film.

Meanwhile, the television series "Bad Girls" first hit British screens in 1999, and proved to be an instant hit. Set in Larkhall, a fictional women's prison, it introduced the British public to some delightfully villainous characters, such as prison officer Jim Fenner and convicted murderer Shell Dockley.
