1. The Doctor in the BBC television series "Doctor Who" has had many incarnations. Who played the tenth?

Answer: David Tennant

He even has "ten" in his name! David Tennant is a life long fan of the show and his last words as the Doctor were, "I don't want to go". My Whovian daughter has informed me that it was the writer, Russel T. Davies, who did not want to leave, rather than the actor.
2. What is "The Tenth Lock" in Dudley, West Midlands?

Answer: Pub

"The Tenth Lock" pub is next to the canal in Brierley Hill, Dudley. There is a beer garden and in the summer they have a bouncy castle for the children.
3. Where in the world is the home of the "Tenth Presbyterian Church"?

Answer: Philadelphia, USA

The church was founded in 1828 and in 1981 the church joined the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) but remains independent. An active church that moves with the times, with a website and even providing web-casts for those unable to attend in person.
4. What is "The Tenth Hole" on the seafront at Southsea, Hampshire?

Answer: Tea room

The tea room is next to a nine holes golf course. It is open for breakfasts, lunches and afternoon tea.
5. Who was the tenth President of the United States?

Answer: John Tyler

John Tyler was also the tenth Vice President and the first ever to become President on the death of the incumbent, succeeding William Henry Harrison. He served from 1841 to 1845.
6. The tenth century was considered a "Golden Age" in European history

Answer: False

The opposite is the case. It was almost the darkest part of the "Dark Ages", an era of very little progress.
7. Where in the world is Tenth Island?

Answer: Tasmania

Tenth Island is a small island, sometimes called Barrenjoey. The island is home to Australian fur seals, Black-faced cormorants and Little penguins.
8. What is the traditional gift for the tenth wedding anniversary?

Answer: Tin

The modern equivalent is aluminium. Searching on-line will bring up jewellery, photo frames and sculptures made of tin and pewter. I remember giving my first husband cans of beer!
9. According to the sales figures from "The Official Chart Company", what is the tenth best selling single of the twentieth century, in the UK?

Answer: "Mary's Boy Child - Oh My Lord" (medley) by Boney M

10th "Mary's Boy Child - Oh My Lord" (medley) by Boney M sold 1.79 million
20th "Can't Buy Me Love" by The Beatles sold 1.52 million
30th "The Carnival is Over by Seekers" sold 1.40 million
40th "Wannabe" by Spice Girls sold 1.27 million

In case you are curious, first is "Candle In The Wind '97" - Elton John which sold a staggering 4.865 million.

Answer: Ninth

First, second, third etc becomes;
