The astronomical clock of St.Nicholas Church is recorded as being present in the church since 1394. It was damaged at some point during history, and although does not work, is incredibly well preserved, one of the few of its kind to be in this condition. German engineer, Nikolaus Lilienfeld, built the clock as well as many other clocks in his career at the Doberan Minster in Bad Doberan, and Lund Cathedral in Sweden.
