Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The northern end of Interstate 15 lies in Sweet Grass, Montana. If you continued north into Canada, into which province would you travel?

Answer: Alberta

Traveling north from Sweet Grass, there is a connection between I-15 and Alberta Highway 4 at the village of Coutts, AB. Sweet Grass is a census-designated location rather than an incorporated community and has a population number under 100. Coutts is not much larger, with a population in the 100s. Despite this, the crossing is one of the busier ports of entry in Western Canada and the Western United States.

The image shows the head of a bighorn sheep. This is the provincial mammal of Alberta.
2. Which Montana city does Interstate 15 NOT pass through?

Answer: Billings

I-15 passes through the western part of Montana, where the three incorrect answers lie. Billings is in a more easterly part of Montana. The 2020 census named Billings as the largest city in Montana at over 180,000. Billings was founded during the building of the Northern Pacific Railroad. Interstate 90 runs east-west through Billings.

The image shows a diner that is out of certain offerings. In diners, a slang term for this is to say they are "86ed".

Answer: Airport

The picture shows several letters in various colors. The letter O (for Ogden) is the only letter in yellow.

Answer: Dixie

St. George is located in Washington County, Utah, located in the south western part of the state. St. George was founded in 1861 as part of an attempt to develop cotton farming in that part of the state. Though the attempt was unsuccessful, that part of Utah is known as "Dixie".
