Answer: Public book burnings.

On the evening of 10 May, 1933 masses of students took part in a massive book burning campaign. Over 25,000 books deemed "un-German" were thrown into bonfires Some of the authors targeted included: Karl Marx, Albert Einstein, Ernest Hemingway, Sigmund Freud, Leon Trotsky, H.G. Wells and Jack London.

The main book burnings took place in Berlin, but there were parallel burnings in all the German university cities, with students and professors playing a key role!
2. Dr Seuss created anti-Nazi propaganda posters for the Allies.

Answer: True

Theodor Seuss Geisel or "Dr Seuss" was of German heritage, but was born in the United States.

He was responsible for over 400 political cartoons that were directed at Hitler, Mussolini and the Japanese Imperial Army.

He created the cartoon characters, the Sneetches, to highlight anti-semitism.

Lord Haw-Haw, or William Joyce, was arrested at the end of WW2 and charged with treason. Though he was a US citizen, he obtained a British passport under false pretences and had "gone to Germany wrapped in the Union Jack", as one of the judges commented.

A successful prosecution ensured that he dropped to his death at the end of a noose.

She was Hermann's second wife. They married on 10 April, 1935 and she took over the social affairs of the Nazi hierarchy, hosting Hitler's social functions.

She was convicted of being a Nazi and spent one year in prison after the war.

When she was younger she was an actress, following her release from prison she was banned from getting on the stage for 5 years. She died in 1973.

Answer: Karinhall.

It was named 'Karinhall' in honour of his first wife, Carin von Kantzow Goering. She died in 1931 of tuberculosis and was later buried in the estate that was to bear her name.

Answer: The Berghof.

The Berghof was located in the mountains of Eastern Bavaria, near the town of Berchtesgaden. Hitler designed the building and used his own funds to pay for it. Slave labour was used for the construction.

The Eagle's Nest was a separate building located nearby. The Eagle's Nest (or The Kehlsteinhaus) was a present for Hitler for his 50th birthday. The structure was set upon the top of a mountain with spectacular views. Hitler would spend hours inside the Eagle's Nest by himself.

The Wolf's Lair was the name of Hitler's Headquarters on the Eastern Front.

Wilhemstrasse is an upmarket street in central Berlin and till 1945 housed many key government offices including the Reich Chancellery.

Marlene left for America in 1930. Marlene was opposed to the Nazis and in 1947 the United States government gave her the Medal of Freedom for her role in entertaining the U.S. troops and for her anti-Nazi stand.

The brothel was established by the SD (a branch of the SS) and run by Kitty Schmidt. Kitty was coerced into assisting the Nazis with the threat of being sent to a concentration camp if she didn't.

Twenty prostitutes were selected to "service" the important clients in special rooms that had been decked out with microphones. The girls would try and obtain secrets from the clients during "pillow talk".

SS commander, General 'Sepp' Dietrich, demanded, and was supplied, all twenty girls for an orgy, but he never gave away any secrets.
