They go to kiss and Christine knocks Freddy out. Chrisitne goes to Lawrence's mansion crying and tells Lawrence that Freddy stole $50,000 from her while she was sleeping. Lawrence feels bad and gives Christine $50,000 of his own money to compensate for her loss. Christine takes it, then gives it back out of the goodness of her heart. Meanwhile, Freddy wakes up with everything he had with him, even his clothes, gone.

He is taken to Lawrence's mansion by two policemen. Lawrence gets mad at Freddy for stealing from Christine, which Freddy claims he didn't do.

They open the briefcase filled with money that Christine gave back, only to find the money gone, replaced with Freddy's clothes, and a note saying "Goodbye boys. It was fun. Love, The Jackal." They've been scammed!

Answer: Lawrence is thinking of retiring as a con artist, when Christine comes back and pulls Lawrence and Freddy into her own scam.
