1. Jord

Jord is the old Norse word for Earth. She was a giantess, the mother of Thor as also the daughter of Night. Like most European mythologies the Earth represents femininity and the Sky masculinity.
2. Gaea

Gaea was the Greek personification of earth. The heavenly gods were born through her union with Uranus (sky) and the sea gods from her union with Pontus (sea). Some of her offspring include the Titans and the Cyclopes.
3. Papatuanuku

She was the Maori Earth mother, the birthplace of all things. It was believed that she came out of the water and created all life.
4. Coatlicue

Coatlicue is the Aztec goddess of the Earth and fertility and mother of the war god Huitzilopochtli. Her name means "serpent skirt" and she is depicted with a head made of two fanged snakes and wearing a skirt weaved with snakes.

Being Chief Greek god of the Winds, he kept the storm winds under lock and key, releasing them only at the request of the heavenly gods. He was also the father of the Anemoi (the four winds) which were Boreas (north), Notus (south), Zephyros (west) and Eurus (east).

As the Japanese Wind god he is in possession of a bag of air that contains all winds, just like his Greek equivalent Aeolus. He is the brother of the thunder god Raijin.

This Aztec god is the controller of the Winds and protector of corn and also the creator of calendars and protector of craftsmen. He is depicted as a feathered serpent.

Surt is a Norse fire giant who wields a burning sword and is associated with volcanic fire. His name means "black", possibly due to his involvement with fire. In the final battle at Ragnarok he will lead his family of giants against the other gods.

Being the Greek god of fire, he is the patron of smiths and metal workers. Although ugly and lame, he was married to Aphrodite. His Roman counterpart is Vulcan and both are involved with volcanoes.

The Japanese god of fire, also known as Kagu-tsuchi, was revered as a purifier. During the fire festivals, at the beginning of each year, the faithful carry home lit torches for their hearths.
14. Xiuhtecuhtl

The Aztec god of fire, day and heat who also controlled volcanoes and life after death. He is also known as "Turquoise Lord" or "Old God" and was deemed to be the creator of all life.
15. Ra

Ra was the Egyptian god of the Sun and the father of all creation, ruling over the sky, the earth and the underworld. He was depicted as a man with the head of a falcon.
