'Bairn' is a Scottish word for a child. Examples of its usage are: 'The bairn was really happy with the new toy I bought for her today' and 'That's a bonny wee bairn you have'. It means a toddler, a tot, a kid or a young child.
8. What does 'Gie it laldy' tell someone to do?

Answer: Give it their all
