Answer: Saphira

Eragon got the name of Saphira from Brom, and named her so because it really fit with Saphira's shimmering blue scales. Brom's dragon was also named Saphira.

2. What was the name of Eragon's mother?

Answer: Selena

Eragon's mother is Selena. She left Eragon to grow up with his uncle, Garrow. Eragon only finds out why she did this at the end of "Eldest".

3. It is possible to lie in the ancient language.

Answer: False

Lying in the ancient language is impossible, but it is possible to say something but mean something else. Eragon did this during "Eldest" while talking with Arya.
