Drizzt certainly carried Twinkle and Icingdeath with him all the time, but they couldn't really get the job done where Obould was concerned. Taulmaril, Catti-Brie's bow, also wasn't quite up to the task of breaching Obould's armor. That would leave Khazid-hea, nicknamed Cutter, which was indeed capable of cutting through stone just as easily as flesh.

Khazid-hea was Catti-Brie's sword, and was upset that it hadn't been used in a while, due to Catti-Brie's injured hip. Regis couldn't have even lifted the sword, much less used it. Drizzt's willpower was such that Khazid-hea couldn't manipulate Drizzt.

There is no indication that Alustriel knew any spells to allow such an effect, although that doesn't mean that such a spell doesn't exist. There is no indication that any trees had ever grown on Fourthpeak. Also, the dwarves were busy doing other things.

They already knew where Tarathiel's body was. The same held true for Delly Curtie. Drizzt and Innovindil had had no contact with Galen at all during this time, and wouldn't have known anything about his situation anyway. They went to retrieve Ellifain's body to bury her in a more appropriate place.

Obould had just gone over the edge of the cliff, and Tsinka had assumed him dead. Drizzt was close to getting hit by the rock Tsinka was holding, and was in no position to attack. Innovindil was not in position to do anything.
