Answer: Declaration of Independence

"BFN" is "bye for now." The US Declaration of Independence basically listed the grievances the colonies had with England and King George, and stated why they felt it necessary to "dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them". Original is much more elegant, no? BTW, there was a character in "A Clockwork Orange" referred to as "Georgie Boy", but he was the one who left, and there weren't 13.

Answer: The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Esmerelda was hanged because of her love for Phoebus. The hump- (or hunch-) backed bell ringer of Notre Dame, who loved Esmerelda, goes to her grave and lies down next to her corpse, where he starves to death. Guess Disney left out that part. Why the other choices? Esme was a snake in "Foul Play" (one of the funniest movies ever made), Engelbert Humperdinck wrote "There Goes My Everything", and Humpty Dumpty appeared in "Through the Looking Glass."

In case you were wondering, an asterisk is sometimes referred to as a splat or a star. Thus, a "*Xluvr" is a "star-crossed lover" in tweetish. Well, it is now. By the way, R&J began with a sonnet ("Two households, both alike in dignity..."). This clue began with the end of sonnet. Howzabout that?

Huh? "Gulliver's Travels" was written by Jonathan Swift. Gulliver encountered little people in Lilliput, and big people in Brobdingnag. "WTH" is an accepted, family-friendly version of a similar phrase (no, I didn't make it up!). Oh, yes, "Blefuscu"? That's got nothing to do with tweeting, and it's not euphemistic obscenity.

It's the country bordering Liliput to which Gulliver escaped. Yes, really!
