Natalie willingly becomes Strigoi so that she can save her father, Victor, from prison. When she goes to save him, though, Rose was already at Victor's cell talking to him. Natalie attacked Rose, but before Natalie could kill her, Dimitri finds them both and kills Natalie on the spot.
