Answer: Vernon Presley

Vernon Presley and his wife and child lived in poverty, living first in Mississippi and then in Tennessee. When his son Elvis becomes famous, however, he is given the job of managing Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), and they are suddenly wealthy. Later on, Vernon is told by Colonel Tom Parker that the Presleys owe Parker a massive debt, thus ensuring that Parker is not fired by Elvis.

Vernon Presley is played by Richard Roxburgh in the film.
2. An African-American blues musician who gives advice

Answer: B.B. King

B.B. King is the portrayal of a real-life musician who has the most prominent role in the film after Elvis. He gives the young Elvis advice on several occasions, such as when Elvis expresses a desire to record Little Richard's song "Tutti Frutti": "If you do, you'll make a whole lot more money than that kid could ever dream of."

B.B. King is played by Kelvin Harrison Jr.

The film is told as a flashback by the Colonel, who is dying after a stroke. He first hears of Elvis after listening to his recording of "That's All Right", and manages to accompany Elvis on a tour. While there, the Colonel convinces Elvis to let him manage his career.

Steve Binder is played by Dacre Montgomery. When the Colonel plans a Christmas Special for Elvis and his deteriorating career, Elvis enlists the help of Steve Binder. When they meet at the Hollywood sign, Binder tells Elvis that he is not experienced at Christmas Specials, but he still helps Elvis to transform it into something very different from what the Colonel had envisioned, but is still a hit with fans.

Gladys Presley doted on her son when he was a boy, and despite their tight circumstances always tried to give him what she could. When her son Elvis becomes famous, he buys her and his family a large estate in Memphis, Tennessee: Graceland. Although the relationship between Gladys and her son becomes strained and she takes to drinking, a 23-year-old Elvis is still heartbroken when his mother dies. Gladys is played by Helen Thompson.

They both think that the voice they are hearing is an African-American singer, until Jimmie informs them that Elvis is white. The Colonel gets the idea at this moment to meet Elvis.

Answer: James Eastland

Senator James Eastland warns Elvis and the Colonel that Elvis' dance moves on stage, which have earned him the nickname "Elvis the Pelvis", must stop. Jail is threatened if they do not do so. Eventually, however, Elvis cannot hold back from his dancing, and he is arrested. James Eastland is played by Nicholas Bell.
10. The young daughter of an Air Force pilot who marries a singing star

Answer: Priscilla Beaulieu

Elvis met Priscilla Beaulieu while in the United States Army posted in West Germany; she was a teenager at the time. Later, they are married, in part on the advice of Colonel Tom Parker, and she becomes Priscilla Presley. When Elvis begins taking drugs, however, she eventually decides to divorce him. In the film, she is played by Olivia DeJonge.
