7. What nickname was given to David by Led Zeppelin's vocalist, Robert Plant?

Answer: David Cover-version

Plant was not happy about Coverdale's having got together with a former bandmate of his and proceeded to launch a verbal attack, in which he accused him of emulating him. 8. Who played the lengthy guitar solo on Whitesnake's seventh studio album, which was entitled 'Whitesnake'?

They had a young, Scottish member, Brian Robertson, who was a guitarist; albeit, not in the same line-up as Sykes. John, whilst in this band, co-wrote the track 'Cold Sweat', for the album 'Thunder and Lightening'. He was fired from Whitesnake, along with the other members of the band, by Coverdale, and was furious, as he only found out about it from John Kalodner, the band's A&R man.
