Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Many artists have recorded "Little Drummer Boy" over the years, but which lady rocker included her version on a 1981 album?

Answer: Joan Jett

Also known as "Carol of the Drum", this touching song tells of a young boy who has no gift to give the baby Jesus, so he plays his drum for him. "Little Drummer Boy" was included on Jett's 1981 album, "I Love Rock 'N Roll". Another notable rendition of the song was by Bing Crosby and David Bowie, who recorded a duet of "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy" for Crosby's 1977 Christmas special.

This version was later released as a single in 1982.
2. In the song "Snoopy's Christmas", Snoopy went up in search of his foe on the night before Christmas. What was the result of Snoopy's encounter with the Red Baron?

Answer: The Baron had Snoopy in his sights, but didn't shoot him down.

"The Baron had Snoopy dead in his sights
He reached for the trigger to pull it up tight
Why he didn't shoot, well, we'll never know
Or was it the bells from the village below?"

After forcing Snoopy to land behind enemy lines, the Baron greets Snoopy with a "Merry Christmas" as they call a cease fire for the holiday. The two of them share a holiday toast before going their separate ways, knowing they'll meet again.

The Royal Guardsmen scored a number two US hit with their first Snoopy song, "Snoopy vs the Red Baron", in 1966. Several other Snoopy songs followed, including "Snoopy's Christmas" in 1967.

Answer: Suzy Snowflake

The cheerful "Suzy Snowflake" was written by Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett in 1951, and recorded by Rosemary Clooney.
