"Love Is All," by Les Reed and Barry Mason who wrote "The Last Waltz," is another favorite that Engelbert has often performed and recorded through the years. It first appeared as a single in 1973 with "Lady of the Night" on the B side.

The young Arnold Dorsey did his National Service in the British Army from 1954 through 1956, starting when he was eighteen. He was a motorcycle dispatch rider, a job that sparked a lifelong enthusiasm for motorcycles.

He talks about his time in the Army in Chapter Three of his autobiography, "Engelbert: What's In A Name?" (Virgin Books, 2004).

"This Is What You Mean to Me" was written by Bobby Eli and Terry Collins. It is on the 1976 album "After the Lovin'".

The Stevie Wonder song "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" is from the 1974 album "My Love." "You Belong to My Heart" is a standard by Ray Cilbert and Agustin Lara. It is on Engelbert's 1985 album "A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening." I made up the title "Can't Live without You."

Dean and Engelbert hit it off famously when Engelbert appeared on Dean's television show. As Engelbert recalls:

his show and he decided to sponsor my appearances at the Riviera, which he partly owned, by changing the billing so it read 'Dean Martin presents ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK'."

Engelbert first opened at the Riviera in 1968. His album "Live at the Riviera" came out in 1971.

The Richard Adams/Alan Bernstein song "After the Lovin'", the title song of his twelfth studio album that came out in 1976, is almost as closely identified with Engelbert as is his signature tune, "Release Me."

"After the Lovin'" reached Number Eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and Number One on the Easy Listening chart. It went double platinum and earned Engelbert a Grammy nomination and the Most Played Jukebox Record of the Year award.

"Let's Remember the Good Times" was released as the B side of "After the Lovin" in 1976 and appeared on the "After the Lovin'" album that same year.. Arthur Schroek wrote it. "Loving You, Losing You" by T. & L. Bell is from the 1977 album "Miracles by Engelbert Humperdinck." "After You"is by Bob Crewe, Jerry Carbetto and Jeff Marmelzat. It is on "Love Is the Reason" (1990).
