Kamelot is an US-American melodic power metal band with slight influences of progressive and symphonic metal. It was founded 1991 by Thomas Youngblood and Richard Warner, who left the band 1997 and was replaced by current drummer Casey Grillo.
"A Feast For The Vain" is a track on the album "Epica", which was released 2003.

The albums "Epica" and "The Black Halo" are concept albums. Their storyline is loosely based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's "Faust", although Kamelot made some changes, such as interchanging the names of Faust's (Ariel's) lovers Gretchen with Helena and Helena with Marguerite.
"Abandoned" is the only ballad on "The Black Halo".
