1. Arrivederci Roma

2. Istanbul (Not Constantinople)
The Four Lads' 1953 recording of "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)", with music by Nat Diamond and lyrics by Jimmy Kennedy, written to commemorate the five hundredth anniversary of Constantinople's fall to the Ottoman Turks was very popular at the time (it earned a gold record) and has remained so. They Might Be Giants' release of the song in 1990 as a single from their album "Flood", was also quite successful.

3. Mexico
James Taylor released his song "Mexico" in 1975 on the Album "Gorilla" and as a single with the album's title track on the B-side. Though the single only made it to Number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100, it reached the Top Ten on the Adult Contemporary chart, peaking at Number Five. A perennial favorite, "Mexico" has appeared on a number of James' live and compilation albums. In 1995, his friend Jimmy Buffett covered the song..

9. Midnight in Moscow
"Moscow Nights" was written by Russian Soviet composer Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi and poet Mikhail Matusovsky in 1955 with the title "Leningrad Nights". It is thought that they changed the title and lyrics at the request of the Soviet Ministry of Culture. In 1956, the song was recorded by Vladimir Troshin of the Moscow Art Theatre for a scene in a documentary and, since that record received considerable radio play, the song became popular in the Soviet Union.
In January 1961, The New Orleans Syncopators, a Dutch jazz combo, recorded the song under the title "Midnight in Moscow" using a Dixieland arrangement by their leader Jan Burgers. That arrangement was used by Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen on his massively popular recording of the song, released October 1961 in the UK and January 1962 in the US. Another very popular, and rousing, Dixieland rendition was laid down by The Village Stompers for their 1963 album "Washington Square".

10. Song of India
The evergreen standard "Song of India" was adapted from the aria "Song of the Indian Guest" from Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's 1896 opera "Sadko".
Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra recorded a foxtrot arrangement of "Song of India" in 1921. But perhaps the most familiar instrumental rendition is the 1937 recording by Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra, featuring the legendary trumpeter Bunny Berigan. This recording was made during the same session and was released on the reverse side of Berigan's equally renowned recording with the Dorsey outfit, "Marie", which spent eight weeks on the Billboard chart, two of them at Number One. These two recordings are considered by Jazz historians as among Dorsey's best. Certainly, they cemented Dorsey as one of the top bands of the Swing era.
In the early 1950s the great lyricist Johnny Mercer added evocative lyrics, and Mario Lanza recorded this version of the song in 1953.
