Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Erotic City

Answer: The Hits/The B-Sides

"Erotic City" was released as the B-Side to "Let's Go Crazy" in 1984. The highly sexual song was inspired by a concert Prince attended of funk pioneers, Parliament-Funkadelic. "Erotic City" was also released on the "Girl 6" soundtrack.
2. Gigolos Get Lonely Too

Answer: Originals

The "Originals" album was released in 2019 after Prince's death. The album included tracks that Prince recorded and stored in his vault but didn't release on an official album. "Gigolos Get Lonely Too" was a single for The Time on their second album in 1983.
3. She's Always In My Hair

Answer: The Hits/The B-Sides

"She's Always In My Hair" was the backing single to Prince's hit "Raspberry Beret" in 1985. The emotional B-side contains a funky rock guitar solo that would have fit nicely on his "Purple Rain" soundtrack. In the UK, "Hello" was used as the B-Side for "Raspberry Beret".
4. 100MPH

Answer: Originals

Mazarati was a Minneapolis based band that released the single "100MPH" in 1986. The song was written by Prince but given to the band and producer Brownmark. On the posthumous album "Originals", we hear Prince's original version of "100MPH".
5. Sex Shooter

Answer: Originals

"Sex Shooter" was heard in the movie "Purple Rain" as the debut single for the girl group Apollonio 6. While the song was not included on the movie soundtrack, Apollonia Kotero's vocals were heard on the single, "Take Me With U". The solo version of "Sex Shooter" by Prince was released in 2019 on the "Originals" collection.
6. How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?

Answer: The Hits/The B-Sides

One of Prince's first B-sides was "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore" in 1982. The song was the backing track to the "1999" single. The song was sung in falsetto and later covered by Alicia Keys on her debut studio album "Songs In A Minor".
7. Love....Thy Will Be Done

Answer: Originals

In 1991, Martika released her first single "Love...Thy Will Be Done", a song co-written by her and Prince. In 2012, Prince played the song live in concert but it wasn't until 2019 that we first heard Prince's original studio version of the song.
8. God

Answer: The Hits/The B-Sides

"God" was labeled as the "Love Theme for Purple Rain" and used in the bedroom scene between The Kid and Apollonia in the film. The song was placed as the backing track to an edited version of "Purple Rain" released for radio. "God" is a religious song which quotes from Genesis 1 about the creation of man.
9. I Love You In Me

Answer: The Hits/The B-Sides

"I Love You In Me" was released twice as a Prince B-side. It was first the backing track from "Arms Of Orion", the Sheena Easton duet on the "Batman" soundtrack in 1989. Then "I Love You In Me" was released as the B-Side to "Insatiable" in 1991.
10. The Glamorous Life

Answer: Originals

Drummer and girlfriend of Prince, Sheila E., saw her biggest chart success with "The Glamorous Life", a song written by Prince. The song contains the unforgettable hook, "without love, it ain't much". Prince's posthumous version saw the light of day in 2019 on the "Originals" album release. His version also contains the Latin drum track and the funky vibe.
