"Something for Everybody" Songs Quiz
Elvis Presley sang and recorded so many great songs, but one of my very favorite albums has always been "Something for Everybody." The title says it all--there are songs for everyone: Side 1 has slow "love" songs, and Side 2 has "up tempo" songs.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
Answer:
"Something for Everybody," the sixth studio album by Elvis Presley, was released by RCA Victor in May 1961. According to studio records, the sessions took place in November 8, 1960, at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, and on March 12, 1961 at RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee. According to recording legend, Elvis recorded 11 of the tracks for the album in one 12-hour session at the Nashville studio! The last song, "I Slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell" which had been released previously as a promotional single for the film, "Wild in the Country," was included as the 12th song on the album.
In the United States, "Something for Everybody" reached number one on Billboard's Album chart and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album remained at number one for three weeks when it was released in 1961. Like much of Elvis' music and movies, it is still available for sale to this day. And some music statisticians believe Elvis has sold over a billion records worldwide, including singles, EPs, and albums in various formats in the last 75 years. His most popular Christmas album alone has sold over 17.22 million copies.
