Steve is remembered for his motorbike scene in "The Great Escape". Also in this 'great' film were James Garner, Charles Bronson and James Coburn. Other films include "The Magnificent Seven" and "The Thomas Crown Affair".
James Garner was born April 7, 1928.
Clint Eastwood was born May 31, 1930'
Sir Alec Guinness was born April 2, 1914.
2. Which criminal legend was born on this date in 1909?

Answer: Clyde Barrow

Clyde Barrow is the notorious partner-in-crime of Bonnie Parker. They operated during the Depression years and met their end in a hail of gunfire in 1934. Their 'exploits' included the killing of nine police officers and several civilians.

Answer: Harry Houdini

Houdini was born Ehrich Weiss in Hungary. Well known for his feats of escapology, such as 'The Chinese Water Torture Cell', he died of peritonitis in 1926, after allowing a student to punch him in the stomach. He was also a pioneer aviator, crashing his 'plane outside Melbourne, Australia in 1910.

Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889.
