Elizabeth Jordan Carr (December 28, 1981) was the United States' first 'test-tube' baby and the 15th worldwide. She was conceived by an in-vitro fertilization procedure done at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. On August 5, 2010, Carr gave birth to her first child, Trevor. by natural childbirth.

Thomas Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856 to February 3, 1924) was the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921. He was the 34th Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913. Wilson, as of 2011, is the only U.S. President to hold a Ph.D. degree. Wilson got his degree from Johns Hopkins University.
During Wilson's first term as President he persuaded Congress to enact the first progressive income tax and the Federal Reserve Act. Wilson's attempts to keep the U.S. out of World War I ended in April of 1917, primarily due to Germany's sinking of many U.S. merchant ships without warning. When the war ended Wilson proposed the idea of the League of Nations, with the goal of maintaining world peace. Because of this Wilson was awarded the 1919 Nobel Peace Prize.

Robert B. Meyner (July 3, 1908 to May 27, 1990) was the 44th Governor of New Jersey from 1954 to 1962.

Brendan Byrne (April 1, 1924) was the 47th Governor of New Jersey from 1974 to 1982.

Christie Todd Whitman (September 26, 1946) was the 50th Governor of New Jersey from 1994 to 2001. Whitman also served as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency in George W. Bush's cabinet from 2001 to 2003.

None of the other three won the Nobel Prize.

William Lendrum "Billy" Mitchell (December 28, 1879 to February 19, 1936) was a United States Army general. During World War I, Mitchell commanded all U.S. air units. He believed in air power as a necessity in future wars. He believed that bombers could sink battleships and did early testing of the theory. Mitchell was court-martialed for insubordination after accusing Army and Navy leaders of an "almost treasonable administration of the national defense."
