The Salvation Army was founded in 1865, in London's East End, by William Booth. It was originally called the Christian Mission, but changed its name to the Salvation Army in 1878. The Salvation Army is famous for its work with the less fortunate in society.

Answer: The reigning monarch of the UK

Henry VIII started the process of creating the Church of England following his failure to obtain an annulment of his marriage to Katherine of Aragon from The Pope. In 1534 Henry passed the Act of Succession and the Act of Supremacy which recognised that the King was "the only Supreme Head of the Church of England." Henry VIII assumed the title given to him in 1521 by the Pope as Defender of the Faith.

The Monarch to this day retains this title and is still Supreme Governor of the Church of England.
