Early on it primarily focused on aggregating state by state polling data to show where the electoral college was likely to go at any given point in time.

By 2015 a UCLA history professor joined the staff and the column expanded to feature daily political commentary with a focus on promoting voting by as many eligible citizens as possible. On Saturdays they answer reader questions while Sundays are devoted to letters to the editor.

Wikipedia started as an online Encyclopedia in early 2001. It is free to use (although user donations are encouraged for frequent users) and most articles can be edited by anyone. This means that users can see updates shortly after things happen. For example, sports league standings are often updated within a few minutes after each game ends and current events can be frequently checked.

Rob Has a Website is the place to find all of the podcasts in the Rob Has a Podcast network. The Rob in question is Rob Cesternino who finished in third place in season six of US Survivor (Survivor the Amazon). He started podcasting about Survivor in 2010 and has since expanded his network to cover Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and many other reality shows as well as international versions of many of the shows such as Survivor Australia and Survivor South Africa.

You can also follow various celebrities, political figures, sports teams, and the like in order to keep up with their latest news. Some performers even have live shows on Facebook.

Starting as an online bookstore in 1994, Amazon has since turned into the largest online retailer in the world and one of the largest overall companies. With around 50 departments, you can buy things from food to clothing to books and have them shipped directly to your residence.

They also run their own streaming service, Prime Video, which gives access to movies and television programs including some original programming. And best of all is the Kindle which allows you to download e-books without having to wait for them to be shipped.
