1. Manchester City

City plays in sky blue and navy with white shorts.

The biggest win of the season was a home win against Nottingham Forest on the 31 August 2022. City won 6-0. On 3 June 2023, City beat Manchester United 2-1 in the FA Cup Final.
2. Arsenal

Arsenal were the runners-up. They won 26 games, drew six and lost six. They scored 88 goals and conceded 43 goals in the league. Martin Ødegaard was team captain for them in the 2022-23 season while their manager was Mikel Arteta, who was appointed on 20 December 2019 and took charge of his first game on 26 December 2019.

Manchester United play at Old Trafford. The team's nickname is "The Red Devils." United play their home games in red and white.

Fun fact: In 1995 Ryan Giggs scored a goal in 16 seconds while playing against Southampton in the Premier League, the midfielder scored from a pass via Eric Cantona.
4. Newcastle United

Newcastle finished in fourth position with 71 points. By the end of the season, they had won 19 games, drawn 14 and lost only five games. They scored 68 goals against 33. Jamaal Lascelle was the team captain for the season, and Eddie Howe was the team manager.

Newcastle play at St James' Park. The team is known as the "Magpies" because the strip they wear is black and white. In the season, Newcastle reached the EFL Cup final playing against Manchester United, losing 2-0.
5. Liverpool

Liverpool finished a disappointing fifth position at the end of the season with 67 points. Their record for the season in the league was won 19, drawn ten, and lost nine. They scored 75 goals and conceded 47. Jordan Henderson started off as captain but was later replaced by Virgil van Dijk on 31 July 2023. The team manager was Jürgen Klopp, who left the club on May 31, 2024.

Liverpool play their home games at Anfield. Their home strip is red, and not surprisingly their nickname is "The Reds." The season started off pretty well for Liverpool when they won the 2022 FA Community Shield, beating Manchester City 3-1. The rest of the season was uneventful.
6. Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton finished in sixth position with 62 points. By the end of the season, they had won 18 games, drawn eight, and lost 12. They scored 72 goals and conceded 53. The captain for the season was Lewis Dunk, and the manager was Roberto De Zerbi.

Brighton play their home games at Falmer Stadium. Brighton's home colours are blue and white. The team is known as the "Seagulls" or "Albion." At the time, the 2022/2023 season was the best season Brighton had in their history. They qualified for the UEFA Europa League, which was the first time the club had played in Europe. Nike were the sponsors for the kit.
7. Aston Villa
