2. Where was the first Extreme E race held?

Answer: Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia

Answer: True

The semi-final and crazy race format was also replaced with a qualifying race format: on race day, two qualifying races, both having two heats, are held.

The combined results of the qualifying races decide whether a team qualifies to the final or to the "Redemption Race", where the bottom five teams compete.to gain championship points. The winner of the overall race gets 25 points, and the winner of the Redemption Race gets 8 points.
