Man O' War finished his career with a 20-1 record. He was able to capture both the Belmont and the Preakness Stakes in 1920, but was never able to capture the crown jewel, the Kentucky Derby. The legendary horse died in 1947.

Wide receiver Dexter Jackson scored two touchdowns on the day and the Mountaineers, and quarterback Armanti Edwards threw for 227 yards in the win. 109,000 people crammed into Wolverine Stadium to see the "Miracle in Michigan". The final was 34-32.

The team moved in 2004 and became the Milton Keynes Dons, leaving Wimbledon with only a major tennis championship to have as their own.
