1.24 "Exodus, Part 2" (First Hour) Quiz

The episode began with Claire changing her baby's diaper while he was crying and there was black smoke in the distance. Charlie came up to Claire and told her that everyone was leaving. Claire told him how she could not go anywhere since she had the baby and was tired.

Sayid was seen near the beginning of the episode as he told many of the survivors they had to get to the caves before sundown. He told them how they were to stay in the caves once they got there since the rest would be right behind them. Charlie came up to Sayid and told him that he needed a gun to protect Claire. Sayid told him how it was still morning and The Others would not be there until nighttime.

Hurley, Jack, Kate, Locke, and Danielle all continued out into the woods and it was in their first scene where they saw a huge ship. Hurley asked how exactly something like that happened and Danielle asked if he was on the same island as her. Danielle started to leave and Jack asked her where she was going and she said the explosives were in the hold of the ship and they no longer needed her.

During the opening credits, there was a flashback in which Jin and Sun were seen at the airport eating a sandwich. Sun asked him if she wanted to cut it in half Jin said he wanted her to do that so she cut it for both of them. As Sun passed Jin's half to him, she accidentally spilled coffee on him.

In a flashback scene, Sayid was also seen and he was walking with a bunch of security guards and the guards apologized to him for some inconvenience. One of the guards told him how one of his bags was unattended so Sayid simply asked if he was free to go and the guard told him he was. Sayid took his bag and said he had a plane to catch.

There were four survivors who were on the raft and they were Jin, Sawyer, Walt and Michael. Shannon was not one of the four but she did help push the raft into the water. While on the raft, Walt told Michael to look at a couple of mountains and Sawyer and Jin also looked at them. Michael was shocked how a place as big as the island did not get discovered.

Since Vincent was Walt's dog and Walt was on the raft and could not take Vincent along, Shannon decided she would look after him. Shannon was seen midway through the episode walking with Vincent as well as carrying a suitcase. Shannon was getting frustrated so Sayid asked her if she needed to bring a suitcase that big. Shannon started to cry since a lot of the clothes in the suitcase belonged to Boone.

Midway through the episode, Kate saw Hurley sitting down by himself so she sat down with him and asked him if he was okay. Hurley mentioned to her how something was "messed up" and then spoke of how Arzt, another person with him and Rousseau, Jack, Kate and Locke exploded right in front of them. Hurley said how Arzt was just trying to help.

Midway through the episode, Jack and Locke were seen with a box of explosives that the found in the ship and Locke was about to take one of them out of the box. However, Jack stopped him and asked him to really think about it. Locke hinted how he was okay with lifting them out of the box so Jack got a piece of cloth for them to lay the explosives on just to be on the safe side. Jack asked Locke how many he thought they needed to blast open the hatch and Locke responded it would take two just to blow the hinge.

Charlie was in a flashback in the middle of the episode as he was going through his hotel room looking for something. He knocked over a bowl and then went through a garbage can. We saw in this flashback how there was a woman who was in Charlie's bed and she woke up and Charlie told her how his flight to Los Angeles was leaving in a couple of hours.
