Knox works for Fred in the science division of the law firm. In the DVD commentary, Joss Whedon goes into detail about this scene. He talks about it being a continuous steady cam shot, and how Alexis Denisof was suffering from Bell's Palsy at the time. According to the official site, http://www.bellspalsy.ws/, this condition is a result of damage to the seventh cranial nerve. Alexis was worried he's be unable to shoot the episode, but Joss mentioned it was healing by the time principal shooting began. If you watch the scene closely, you can see that Alexis is unable to move the left side of his face when he speaks.

Answer: Corbin Fries

Corbin had a virus hidden in a mystical container and stored inside his young son. He threatened to "say the magic word", which would dissolve the container, if he was convicted of the charges against him. In the end, it was our new Charles Gunn Esquire that had it declared a mistrial.
Corbin Fries is the real name of Joss Whedon's nephew. Actor Rodney Rowland played Fries. Jordan Garrett played Fries's son Matthew. The three incorrect choices are all the names of characters played by actor Michael Biehn in James Cameron films.

When he paged his sectary, Angel said "this is Angel". Harmony, as usual, was slow on the uptake and though he was calling HER Angel. She responded with "no this is his assistant". When Angel found out Harmony had been Wes' idea, he made a comment about how it hadn't taken Wes long to become evil.
Mercedes McNab returned to the 'Buffyverse' as Harmony, as "Angel" ended its five year run.

This time he did it with more flair and drama, but once again didn't feel the need to explain who he was. Thanks to his new title at Wolfram and Hart, as he walked away he was met with a SWAT team of sorts and his lawyer. TJ Thyne played the lawyer. David Boreanaz would reunite with him just two short years later on the hit series "Bones". TJ plays Dr. Jack Hodgins on "Bones".

Sarah Thompson joins the guest cast as Eve. She does a great Lilah impression, but Sarah lacks Stephanie Romanov's husky voice. Just like Lilah before her, Eve begins her relationship with Angel with suggestive comments and flirtation.
The other choices are all related characters on the soap "The Young and the Restless".

This man is a Mexican wrestler who would reappear in episode six, "The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco". Of course, on the first run of this season I did not recall seeing the man in the premier episode. In the commentary Joss specifically points him out, though this time I caught him right away.

Spanky had this nickname for a good reason. Angel discovered his apartment was outfitted with many tools of his trade. He basically had to go in and kick some booty and the man revealed that Corbin hid the weapon inside his own son. Michael Shamus Wiles played Spanky. Oddly I recognized him as the broken up bartender seen at the end of "Fight Club", when Ed Norton begins to realize that HE is Tyler Durden.

Gunn walked in, fresh from his brain enhancement, and got the mistrial on the basis of the judge being connected to Corbin. Lorne and Wes were in the back, and Wes had a gun of his own (no pun intended) in case the verdict was guilty. Jacqueline Hahn played the judge.

Joss picked the Dixie Chicks when he wrote the script because he really liked them, and they'd just caused themselves a great deal of political controversy when Natalie made her comment about the president being from Texas. I too enjoy the Chicks.

That was one of Harmony's many nicknames for her beloved Spike. Though he mistreated her all throughout their ill conceived relationship, she continued to adore him. As far as fans could tell by watching, she hadn't seen him since "Buffy" season five "Crush".
